We didn't actually meet Pedro but had a great time in his apartment. It is as described and the neighbourhood is lovely. There were a few broken things and many of the lights didn't work but didn't matter to the overall experience. Would definitely recommend!
We ( me and my friend ) stayed almost 5 months in Pedro's apartment. The location was perfect for us with lots of bars and restaurants around and also pretty close to our school.Really close to centre as well about 20 mins with ubahn. The apartment was really comfortable for us.Looks exactly as photos.Although the building is very old I think and that causes dust to collect really (website hidden) terms of maintaining the Fichte clean it really was a struggle for me.I definitely recommend anyone this place for a short term stay. But in the long term you may be tired of constantly needing to vacuum the apartment.Renovating kitchen and bathroom would be a huge plus. You can find everything you need in the apartment Pedro makes sure of that dont worry.I have to thank Eva and Sebastian also for helping us through out this time in Berlin they've been great! Till next time Berlin!
Very much as described, the apartment was roomy, clean and in a great location (very close to Hermannplatz and to Südstern Straße U bahn).
The neighborhood is quiet, though in a walking distance from great restaurants and bars.
We must also give our regards to Pedro's neighbor, Sebastian, who waited for us and even help us getting to the apartment with our luggage.
We also liked the fact the apartment is facing the inner garden and not directly to the street, even though it's a quiet street, we visited during the NYE and fireworks in Berlin can be a bit too much for some :)
The apartment also had all the basic essentials + fact WiFi connectivity.
Best thing of all, is Pedro's taste in art, which inspired us!
We highly recommend Pedro's apartment to anyone who wishes to visit Berlin, thanks to great transportation, the whole city is very accessible!
We lived three months in Pedro's amazing apartment in Fichtestrasse. The apartment is large and spacious, and perfectly placed in the calm area by Hasenheide, with all of Kreuzberg's adventures a few minutes away. Highly recommended!
It is a very good location with many cafes and small shops around. The apartment is very spacious and I liked in particular the lamps in most of the rooms which are very nice. As mentioned before, there was no wifi which, however, was not an issue for us. Pedro was very helpful; and Eva who gave us the keys was a stellar star. Thank you both!
We really enjoyed our stay at 'the Fichte', the place is located in a nice neighbourhood close to shops, bars, restaurants and an U-bahn station. The place is spacious and furnished pretty basic. The appointment with Eva, the host, to receive the keys went perfect, thanks Eva! I was a little disappointed that there was no WiFi present even though this was advertised. I think Pedro forgot to tell me when I booked the place.
The most perfect location anyone can ask.
House is not in the best shape but definitely enough for a stay.
Pedro is great in everything, very very kind and helpful
