Having travelled extensively and using using Airbnb on several occasions we think it's a great way to stay in a city benefitting from local knowledge.
The house might not have the most modern decor but it has character and charm, it is clean and comfortable and it has a great location and parking right outside.
A little factoid: the former Mayor of York lived used to live in this house.
3 People? The room has a double bed but if there are 3 of you, we make up a comfortable 3rd (air)bed on the floor.

Interaction with Guests
I live here most of the time and am available to help at any time and like to meet my guests personally when I can and help them find the best places to see in York. I also have a houseboat in York and an office in Sheffield so I may not always be there but I am always available via mobile.
York is quite a small city and you can walk everywhere. Most of the places of interest are around 15 minute walk from our house. If you want to explore a bit further afield you may like to rent a bicycle or if you want to explore places outside York like Castle Howard, Scarborough, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Harrogate, Leeds or Knaresborough, you can go by bus, train or hire a car.
