Interaction with Guests
We check in with guests daily and are helpful in navigating your stay in Ubud.
This is a hidden spot literally just minutes from the hustle and bustle of Ubud with its restaurants and shops but it feels lost in the country. Next door feel free to see how traditional coconut soap is made.
You can walk to town in five minutes or we are happy to rent you a scooter or arrange a driver for longer excursions.
Other Things to Note
There is a fan as well as shared bathroom, kitchen and living space.
Respect everything and enjoy the space, be friendly to the neighbors and ask if you are not sure. No smoking is allowed in the house.
We loved staying in this hidden jem! Rainy and her staff were so sweet and helpful and the surroundings are breathtaking. The room was clean and the provided breakfast was delicious. The only (small) negatives were: there was no fan in our room so it was very hot and there are a lot of noisy animals around which can make it hard to sleep--ear plugs were very helpful!
A little bit hard to find but beautiful location, absolutely picturesque.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wayan and Mura did their best to make me feel comfortable and welcome. The breakfast was amazing.
Don't forget your torch and antimosquitos to really enjoy your stay.
What an incredible 3 day experiencefirst time in Bali. Rainy and her team Wayan and Kutu and everyone made for a beautiful, enrichingly memorable experience. From the morning breakfest, chats, morning run through the rice fields, couldn't ask for any more of an incredible back drop. Go and challenge yourself- bali and this lombong is the way to go... It's back to basics, mosquito net, warm nights, sweet sounds of nature, and the alarm clock of roosters, cats and construction :-)... But it's simply magical- and if you're lucky you may even get a ride around town in a motorbike singing Bollywood songs and learning some Bahasa...
A nice quite place to stay, but a bit difficult to find. Wayan is so helpful, he helped us get a rental bike. Not so far from central of ubud. Be careful to who want to explore ubud in the night, there is no light in the little path to wayan's house. There are 3 dogs that will bark aggressively on you when you come for the first time, but don't worry they are absolutely fine. Don't forget to use anti mosquito lotion at night. Breakfast is DELICIOUS, we had sweet crepe with sliced apple and yoghurt. I really love the place and staffs, sure will be back next time. Thanks wayan
Great place to stay. Off the beaten track and we found it hard to find but well worth it after we got there... Just make sure you check the instructions on how to get there before your stay. Host was lovely and welcoming. Breakfast each morning was good and the surrounding of this property are amazing... Make sure you venture out for a stroll through the rice fields!
Rainy was a lovely host - very helpful and friendly. I loved the room; it was clean, cozy, quiet and had a beautiful view directly out into the rice fields. One thing that should be emphasized is how tricky it can be to find without calling ahead. I got the driver of my taxi to call and arrange someone to meet me. Otherwise, it would have taken me forever to find the place! But once I found it, that aspect seemed to add an alluring quality to the place... like a secret!
Overall, it's a great spot. I only wish I would have snagged it for longer! Books up fast - even in the off season.
