Was a bit late, but the host was more than polite, and answered our messages very fast. while the house was a guest house, it was still very private. We were both very happy with our stay :D

Juliet is a fun and caring host. This is a good place to stay in if you are heading south on Hwy 1

Great first experience with airbnb. Convenient location. Host was great and hands off. Would go back in future trips.

The spot was a great place to stay-- very quiet space and neighborhood, and while the place was small it was very comfortable. The apartment was stocked with good amenities, coffee, and wine. Parking was extremely easy and the location was great for accessing the local area. However, there is some unmentioned construction going on on the main house and the yard. The walkway to the apartment is an unlit dirt path with construction materials on both sides-- fairly unsafe to walk to at night. Would have been better if the host made this clear before booking and if the host made some effort to light this path.

Juliet warned us of the construction going on beforehand - which we didn't mind as we were planning only a short stayover. The bathroom is, as described, in the main house. Juliet showed us around and everything was well lit. She is a very friendly and welcoming host. But the place was missing a thorough cleaning. It was a bit dusty, cobwebby and the shower curtain was mouldy at the bottom. The curtains came off when trying to open them. The room looks a lot nicer on the pictures. This place has potential. With a loving hand it could become really pretty.

Construction on the premises and we were not told until we arrived. They started at 7AM with a loud generator and power tools. Juliette told me they would be starting at 11AM. We had to maneuver through dirt piles and supplies to get to the bathroom and to and from our car. The fact we were not told until we arrived felt deceiving. Terrible stay. I let Juliette know of the conditions and never heard back from her. I didn't want to write this review but she has done nothing to make this right and I don't want others to experience the same.

I'm from LA but lived in SF for many years. I love to play beach volleyball and hike in this area!
