Our casita is located in a quiet neighborhood 10 blocks from the beach also close to shopping and restaurants with plenty of parking. There is a kitchenette with a microwave, a small fridge, a coffee maker, a toaster oven and a two burner stove.
This is a great little casita in the backyard of our home. It has it's own private entrance with a kitchenette. The bathroom is located inside the main house about 10 feet from the casita, but also with a separate entrance and not used by the main house when guests are staying.
Only 10 blocks from the beach!
Close to lots of great wineries and tons of outdoor activities!
Grover Beach is a quiet beach town, great for a getaway!
Juliet's communication could have been a littler stronger, I wasn't given any info until I texted her myself. The beach casita definitely seemed smaller than pictured, but still a cute little space. The make shift bed frame was a bit annoying as it squeaks throughout the night when you move. Also the separate bathroom was kind of a hassle, but it was mentioned so that's fine. I loved all the fun things in the backyard such as the trampoline, swing, and hammock. It's okay for a 1 or 2 night stay, but overall I wouldn't stay again.
We didn't see Juliet until we were leaving but had great communication via text.
The casita is cute, private, clean and well appointed. I quite enjoyed having a guitar to strum and we found a movie to watch as well. The bottle of wine was a super bonus... yum. It was nice and warm when we arrived.
We had a great time.
The beach casita was beautiful and we had everything we could wish for! Would recommend to anyone.
The neighbourhood is peaceful and the beach casita looks just like the pictures.
I stopped over here during a road trip from San Francisco to Los Angeles on the Pacific Coast Highway. This was the perfect place for a stopover. Juliet was a great host - reliable and communicative. The place is very small, but perfect for one person or a couple. The complimentary bottle of wine was a great touch. A heads up about the shower - I'm fairly short so it was the perfect size for me. A taller person may have to bend down or crouch a bit to take a shower. Other than that side note, I would highly recommend this place to other Airbnbers!
This little place was a great place to just stop for a night, and good value for the price. Juliet was a great host - wasn't there when we arrived but very communicative and helpful. A few things to note that might be helpful for other guests if they care about these things: the bed doesn't have a box spring so it can actually be quite squeaky (though it is very comfortable); and secondly that the bathroom (not directly attached but rather attached to the house - a note that the bathroom does not have a sink, but the casita does) has an extremely low ceiling; tall people will have to lean or bend a bit when using the shower. Otherwise, a nice stay for a quick stop-over!
It is a good stay for one or two days. For the bath you have to go through the little garden, but that is mentioned. The area is quite nice and not so touristy. Was clean and comfy.
