  • We had a three night stay in Jeremy's place.
Pros: location, it's walking distance to everything in santa Monica. It was very clean when we arrived and it was easy to find. The WiFi is great and there's Netflix on the tv which we really appreciated.

Cons: it's a lot smaller than it looks. It gets very hot during the day and there's no aircon, only a fan. The couch bed is very uncomfortable to sleep or sit on. The kitchen isn't very well equipped.

Overall we enjoyed our stay but we were glad it was only for a couple of nights.

  • Overall the apartment is quiet, clean and location is really good. Also, the parking space is ok.
It didn't work out perfectly for us because the second bed option futon is unconfortable, the Wifi is unreliable and the bedroom window did not open – it was quite hot. We missed a table or a counter hight to have our meals, as well.
I'd recommend it as a convenient good value stopover in LA for a couple.

  • Comfortable bed, not so comfortable sofa, clean throughout the entire house. Living room can get very hot, but there is a fan in the bedroom which helps. Parking is a pain if you have anything larger than a compact car, but it was a private spot so that alone was nice. Very close to the (website hidden) took a minute to respond to my question, but it was my fault for not reading the house rules, which explained everything I had asked.

  • First time user of airbnb and will definitely use again. This little spot was cute and had everything we needed. Did get a little warm during the day, but going to the beach was always part of the plan. So didn't matter much to us. Super clean and great location. Coffee, Whole foods, and tacos super close by. Two thumbs up.

  • We stayed in Jeremy's beach bungalow for one night mid june. The apartment was clean and spacious and the safe parking spot was a huge plus!

  • Clean and Cute. This (email hidden) for a once night stop over in Venice Beach.

  • I stayed at this upstairs back-entrance apartment with a friend and it was nice to have a place to ourselves in the area where we wanted to be, but it didn't work out perfectly for us. The second bed option is a pretty uncomfortable futon so I wouldn't recommend it if you definitely need two beds for more than a night. It's location is convenient for good proximity to the beach as well as access to the free-way to reach central LA, but it is the kind of place that you would probably be driving everywhere from. Chris (I think now the previous host), did rush over pretty late at night to bring some bedding when we realized that some was missing upon arrival, which (email hidden) move.

  • We had a mixed experience staying in the apartment. Pros: The great location, walkable to the beach and main street shops and bars/restaurants; it was clean and comfortable with Wi-Fi, TV etc as advertised. We found the microwave and kitchen facilities useful. Great size for a couple. Cons: We had trouble with the air conditioning meaning it was hard to sleep due to the heat - and the water supply cut off at one point - and we didn't really receive a satisfying response to either of these issues. Luckily the water supply started again later in the day. Constant strange loud noises coming from outside on our second night kept us awake most of the night, although that can't really be blamed on the host and might have just been a one off. Overall the apartment was lovely, location perfect, and barring those few issues I'd recommend it as a convenient good value stopover in LA.

  • We found Chris's place to be just as advertised. Very clean and in a good location. During our stay it was unfortunately 95 degrees out and we found that there were no fans, no a/c, and the bedroom window did not open. Chris was good with communicating with me right until we inquired about canceling our second night in order to find a hotel room. The heat is obviously out of his control but we were hoping he would at least offer up a fan or something instead. His lack of communication affected our ability to make plans otherwise which was unfortunate. The apartment is nice however and I'm sure would (email hidden) to stay under normal Santa Monica weather. The included parking is a huge plus as well. Nice neighborhood with quiet neighbors.

  • The place is small and cozy, very good location. We faced some trouble to open the door, but finally solve the problem with the support from Chris.
