Interaction with Guests
Between work, yoga and grad school I am almost never home but our paths will probably cross at some point each day.
I like to call this neighborhood a Disney neighborhood because the homes are quaint custom built homes on a quiet, tree-lined street. I have lived here for 28 years and never get tired how uniquely beautiful it is here!
There are bus routes just 2 blocks away however mass transit here is not like in the big cites. NJ Transit rail system (to Princeton + NYC) and Septa Rail System (to Phila.) is very convenient.
I am conveniently located near most major highways such as Rt 95, Rt 195, Rt 295, Rt 1 and the New Jersey Turnpike. I am one hour from the Jersey Shore for great weekend getaways!
Other Things to Note
This home has a zen atmosphere of peace and (website hidden) usage is kept to a minimum and must be limited to the bedroom area. Quiet hours from 7 pm to 7 am are strictly enforced.
NO pets. NO smoking. No additional guests. NO Parties. Quiet hours from 7 pm to 7 am are strictly enforced.
Must like animals as I have one small dog and a cat who is very shy. They are in a separate area when guests are in the house. There are 2.5 baths in the home but only the hall bath has a shower and therefore must be shared.
Total number of guests allowed per room is 2.
There are two other bedrooms available each is priced separately, a guest room (full bed) with adjoining hall bath and a main floor guest room (twin bed) with separate entrance. Please note that they require a separate reservation - see my other listing.
Long-term rentals are welcome. The rates are prorated on long term rentals lasting 50+ nights.
Victoria was a great host. She was extremely accommodating and very gracious with the use of her house. The house was always very quiet and she is very courteous towards all of her guests. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.
Vicki is such a wonderful host. She is so considerate, she cares about every detail of our stay to make us very comfortable there, for eg. she even bought a new air-con to make us cool this summer, and she prepared all the necessities for us. We enjoyed our stay very much, she really made us feel at home. I would definitely recommend her as a host.
Vicky is just great - it was just like staying with family!
She took care of everything - driving me from the train station and preparing a meal for the tired traveler, showing me around the area, setting a baby bed and a tricycle for my two years old daughter and generally was hospitable and charming.
We had the best time with her just chatting and getting to know each other in addition to enjoying the big house, living room, and backyard.
I would defiantly recommend to stay there!
Our stay at Abernethy Drive was truly one to remember. The house is placed in the nice and peaceful part of Trenton close to the Delaware River. Our host, Tori, is a very spirited person, and you instantly feel welcome in to her home.
When we arrived in early March, our host Tori picked us up at Newark Airport, which was a great help, as we arrived late in the evening, and the last shuttle bus had left the airport. In the first weeks Tori was a great help to us, as she took us around the area, helped us doing some shopping and so on.
Our room was nice with plenty of room for two people. We were provided with towels, sheets, a little television with all the channels you could wish for, laundry facilities and free access to the internet.
We used the place in Trenton as our base for studying in Princeton. We quickly discovered that a car is very much needed as public transportation is very limited. A car is also very much needed to do shopping, and if you want to explore the surrounding area. You can use the place as a base to explore New York City, Princeton and Philadelphia. From the Train Station in Trenton trains leave frequently for both New York City, Princeton, Philadelphia and even Washington DC.
We enjoyed staying at Abernethy Drive. Tori has a very open mind and is very friendly to live with.

About the Host, Victoria
Hi, welcome to Airbnb! I'm no stranger to renting out beautiful homes and hosting guests. I do my very best to make sure guests have a true representation of the home before booking so there are no surprises. I try to include any amenities that I feel will make stays more enjoyable (coffee maker, blow dryer, fast wifi Internet). I also make sure that my responses to inquiries are very concise and prompt.
I have lived in this area for 28 years. I love travel, culture, art, foreign languages and yoga. I am currently earning my master's degree in holistic health. I eat a mostly plant based diet and make a lot of green smoothies. I work for a well known travel website. I live alone with my cat and small dog. I maintain a peaceful, zen environment with tons of beautiful artwork in every room.
Don't hesitate to send me a message if you have any questions about myself, my property or the Airbnb experience in general. I would love to have you as my guest! My house is cozy and inviting with lots of room to spread out.
Welcome again, and hope to have you as my guest.
