I had a fantastic week in this apartment! Can't say enough good things. :)
First and foremost: the location is absolutely ideal. Right across the street from a central metro station, a few minutes' walk from Notre Dame, markets and bakeries galore just seconds from the doorstep.
The apartment is also impressively quiet! It's tucked away from the street and faces a private courtyard, so none of the noise from the street can be heard. The neighbours are very quiet as well!
The apartment itself is cosy, but it has everything you need. The shower in particular is magnificent - instantly produces very hot, high-pressure water. So nice to come home to at the end of a long day! The kitchen is small but has everything you need to cook up simple meals. The wifi is also fantastic - easy to connect, reliable, and very high speed, even when I was using more than one device at once.
Sam was a lovely host - he was easy to communicate with, responded quickly to my messages and texts, and graciously accommodated both my plan to arrive early and my actual late arrival. He was also quick to reply anytime I needed him throughout the week. This apartment is the ideal landing pad for anyone looking to enjoy Paris!
The location is great, within walking distance from Notre Dame, Saint Michel, Cluny, Jardins de Luxembourg and other sights. The neighbourhood itself is lively and has all the necessary shops close by. If you only want to sleep and have a shower in the studio, it works just fine because the bed is comfortable, and the hot water runs perfectly at all times.
