Recent property developments have turned this laidback riverside quarter into prime-location real estate, as it’s becoming one of the most diverse areas in the heart of London. Within a ten minute walk, you’ll get to Tate Britain and a little further downriver you will hit the Houses of Parliament. 1. Keys: Please send us a valid ID, such as a passport or driver’s license at the time of confirming a booking.

3. You will find a WiFi password in welcome letter at the time of arrival or you can find MiFi Dongle in the apartment so you and your party can enjoy free internet facilities.
4. Car parking is on subject to availability at an additional cost of GBP 20 per night.

7. We do not allow parties/loud music in our apartments.

In order to ensure the best possible service and comfort during your stay with us, we would ask you to provide us with the following information:
1. Please advise us of your estimated time of arrival in London as well as at the apartment for the key collection atleast 48 hrs prior to checkin.

Important point about this stay: we actually stayed at Calico House, 199 Long Lane, because St. George Wharf was not available. Be prepared for this sort of switcheroo when you book from agencies.
The place was fine, but very sparse. It lacks several of the basic amenities one would expect when staying at, e.g. a hotel or a person's guest room. For example, there are no drawers in which to store clothing, and no hooks or towel rods in the bathroom. The kitchen has exactly four of each thing (four plates, four cups, four saucers, four spoons, etc.), so with a party of three, expect to wash dishes after every meal.
During the time of our stay, the weather was very hot (over 90F most days). There was no fan, and our request for one was not honored. We were able to open windows, which provided some relief. The windows have dark curtains, but as there is no other window covering, the only options are to keep them drawn and have some privacy and the place is entirely dark, or open them and see the people in the next building.
Again, this is nothing terrible: the place is comfortable enough and is as advertised. But it's clear no one ever *lived* here. A few minor enhancements would make a tremendous difference. Alas, my request a few days into our (month-long) stay to fix some of these things apparently fell on deaf ears.
Location: In a gentrifying neighborhood, close to Bermondsey St. About 8-10 minutes from Borough Station, maybe 15 minutes from Tower Bridge. The walk from Borough is a little skeevy, but from Calico House to the Thames is quite nice.
The appartment 1 bedroom is very clean and well located. It is quite spacious with the window on Thames and Big Ben. If I come back to London, I'll rent it again. I really enjoyed my stay.
