Our humble retreat was beautiful. I loved waking up in the morning and seeing all the fruit that they have there. Their home is immaculate; the weather was beautiful at night; I wasn't there for the day time heat. I slept comfortably. I intend to stay again. The cost is well worth the accomodations.

Nightmare. After we booked this place, we were told the A/C is out but the cool nights with the windows open did the trick. Not being from the area, we had no reason not to trust a resident who was booking their property. Boy, were we wrong! We arrived and walked in to 96 degrees in the house. No cool nights were going to fix that! We got a very small fan and hooked it up in the bedroom. We then found another one that would occilate and decided to give it a try with the inadequate small window unit that was installed to cool this entire place. Well the fan was missing a blade and danced around the floor, so it was useless. We gave it awhile, but the temperature only went to 95. Now here we were, on vacation with a car load of luggage and cooler of food, and cannot stay in these conditions. I contacted Robert and he understood and got the ball rolling for a refund. But the worst part was driving 18 hours only to have to find a place at the last minute! I won't even go into how the property looked. The pictures were very decieving. How can anyone rent a place and not have it in shape for the guests? It's going to be hard to trust pictures and reviews from this site again.

Patricia and Robert's place is charming, quaint, and incredibly spacious—and it's location is both secluded enough for a private getaway with an amazing view of the Stars every night, while still being a manageable drive from beautiful Sedona and the amazing Grand Canyon. I would recommend staying in their place for the stars and location alone, but it's comfort and cleanliness are also exceptional. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to sight see in Arizona, while having privacy at night.

A/C does not work so will be unbearable on hot days. Floors are spongy in places but safe. No regular T.V. channels available here.

The house is comfortable and decorated with art everywhere. Everything we needed was there. The neighborhood is quiet with lovely views, just minutes from necessities and great restaurants. We were very happy to have stayed there, especially compared to busy, crowded Sedona

Linda was a great guest, and echoed our sentiments about Sedona compared to the tranquillity of Cottonwood.... We would welcome her back any time.

Our first time in AZ. We came for adventure/hiking/relaxation and Patricia & Robert's place was a perfect base for our trip. Centrally located to Jerome, Sedona and of course Old Town Cottonwood. We easily drove to the Grand Canyon, completed a day hike into the canyon and drove back. This home was spotless (the washer/dryer was a huge benefit), the bed extremely comfortable and the shower was perfect after a long day of adventuring. If you are looking for a comfortable, CLEAN spot to call home for your AZ vacation.....look no further.
