We had a lovely 4 day stay at Patricia's ' Other Home'. The neighbourhood was very quiet at night, and an easy drive to places like Sedona, Jerome and Montezuma Castle as well as a ten minute drive to Cottonwood for groceries or other essentials.
Although we didn't meet Pat and Rob, they were easily available by phone or text to answer questions.
Their home was simple and lovingly decorated, and very comfortable for the two of us.
We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage in Cottonwood. We were very comfortable and would stay here again. The house was nicely decorated with original art and talavera pottery. We liked the neighborhood very much. It was quiet and rural and right across the street from a natural open space area by the Verde River. We enjoyed going for walks there.
The house was in a perfect spot for exploring the Verde Valley, Jerome, and Sedona. We visited the national monuments in the area- Montezuma Castle, Montezuma Well, and Tizigoot- highly recommended. We could have spent another couple of days to see even more of Sedona and do more hiking.
We had a wonderful time staying at Patricia and Rob's (website hidden) was the perfect location to explore the surrounding area, all the way from Flagstaff to Sedona, to Jerome and Prescott. The house was very cozy and had everything we needed and Patricia met us when we arrived and was immediately available when we had a question over text. This was a great visit and met all our needs. We had good restful sleep, a few quick meals,a movie night with their giant screen and surround sound, and even got to enjoy their lovely gardens and outdoor space. We would definitely stay again and fell in love with the area! Thanks Patricia and Rob for offering your lovely home for an affordable and reasonable price.
Patricia and Robert are wonderful hosts, immediately available to answer any questions. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and located with easy access to Sedona, Prescott, and all the beauty between the two towns. As an added bonus there is a hiking trail right across the street that goes along the Verde River. I would love to stay in their house again next time I am in the area. They keep it clean, and it is accurate as described in their listing. It gets great morning sun, too. I loved watching the sun rise over one mountain range and light up the range to the west. The kitchen provides everything you need to prepare any kind of meals you want to make. Thanks for making our stay in the Verde Valley memorable.
Patricia and Robert were great hosts. They met us at the house and gave us a quick tour of everything we'd need to know. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to cook meals and relax. We appreciated the amenities of wine, coffee, a Red Rock pass, nice soaps and shampoo. The location was perfect: away from the crowds of Sedona tourists but close enough to visit. Cottonwood has plenty of chain retail stores and services. The WiFi service was somewhat spotty, but we didn't use it much.
Both Patricia & Robert were kind hosts. I maintained constant contact via Airbnb web site and text messages up until my arrival. They were thoughtful and reached out to me during my stay to make sure I was doing well and to see if I had any questions or concerns. Unfortunately, I did not have the pleasure of meeting them, but they left a note with clear instructions about the rental. They even offered a bottle of wine as a welcoming gift to enjoy during my stay. There were travel brochures available and hosts also provided a Red Rock car pass that is needed when visiting sites, especially if parking off road. The kitchen was fully equipped for making coffee and cooking. There were extra linens in the laundry room. Although the television did not pick up any local stations, which I saw as a blessing, there was a nice selection of DVDs.
Listing description was pretty accurate. The only surprise was that home is a mobile home, not necessarily a cabin, but it suited me perfectly because I spent my days out exploring and would return in evenings just to sleep. The neighborhood was quiet, a nice mix of residential homes and a few other mobile home residents. I only saw some of the residents early AM during the week and weekend on my way out. The evenings were peaceful. Patricia and Robert's rental was a perfect choice for me. I had the amenities and privacy of a home at an economical price.
OUR HOST MADE US FEEL VERY WELCOME!! VERY NICE PEOPLE!!
WE LOVED THE HOUSE AND THE AREA WAS BEAUTIFUL!!
WE WERE CLOSE TO EVERYTHING WE NEEDED, AND ESPECIALLY TO SEDONA :)
THANKS SO MUCH!!
