The Davis Room has 2 twin beds which is perfect for couples, traveling friends, and family. It is a 6 minute walk to Davis Square which is full of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and shops with access to the red line at the Davis Square T Stop.
Freshly painted bedroom, living room, hallway and foyer. We have talented Interior Designers in the family! :)
This funky room is one of two Airbnb listings in our large apartment. You may get a chance to meet some of our other wonderful guests! Our 3rd floor apartment is more than just a place to stay, it's a place to relax, laugh and enjoy yourself. With a fully stocked bar (and a fully experienced bartender to prepare something for you) we encourage you to ask questions about the area and Boston in general. Your room will have two beds (can be pushed together or separate), and a desk if you need to work. There's also a large closet to hang up your travel clothes.
This is one of two listings that we have on airbmb
BAR: You will also have access to our now World Famous Fish Tank Bar, if you would like a drink or two!
SHARED AREAS: Living room, kitchen, and bathroom are all shared spaces. We have flexible schedules, so our shower time is usually in the afternoon/evening creating no conflicts. :)
PARKING: There is guest parking right on our street (not a specific spot) for you.
INTERNET: Wireless internet is available throughout the apartment and we have Netflix if you feel like a night on the couch.
Interaction with Guests
We try to always be there for our guests arrival and love to spend time with them, but we both have busy schedules and work into the night occasionally. Bryan has lived in this apartment for 9 years so he has great suggestions for bars, restaurants and places to see. And of course, he'll be more than happy to make you a nicely crafted cocktail after a long day!
It's a wonderful neighborhood of mostly families on a quiet tree-lined street. There are tennis and basketball courts a short walk away as well as a great market for fresh produce and craft beer.
Very easy access to both the bus lines (main routes run into Harvard Square) and the Red Line on the T (Davis Square stop is a 6 minute walk/ Porter Square is a 10 minute walk)
Other Things to Note
Davis Square is a great area to go explore with tons of restaurants and bars and is a 6 minute walk from the apartment. Definitely worth checking out!
Our apartment does not allow pets. Smokers are allowed, but there is NO smoking inside the apartment. Please use the back deck. Of course we would ask that you treat fellow guests and hosts with the same level of respect that you deserve. :)
It is a lovely experience. The place is nice. I arrived pretty late, and Bryan is still up and help me settled. They also prepared snack!
Though my stay was very brief, I enjoyed every minute of it! Marisa was very welcoming, and I appreciated the little touches in the room (welcome basket full of goodies, guest book, and a map to pinpoint where you're from). The location was great, only about 30 minutes by foot and metro from MIT.
Bryan & Marisa are really nice. The room is really comfortable and I love all those paintings. It's a wonderful place to stay.
Marisa and Brian were wonderful, helpful hosts. Their place is in a very convenient location. Would definitely recommend them to a friend!
Marisa and Bryan were wonderful friendly hosts. Everything was so well planned and organized, you can tell they are pros at what they do! The apt is so clean, cozy, and inviting. I really enjoyed their art collection! The bed was so comfy, I got such a good night's sleep after a tough week!! Marisa really made the experience feel special with personal touches like a basket of goodies she left with my name on it :) I would definitely recommend staying here and I would totally stay here again!!! Thanks for the hospitality!
Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and willing to accommodate our timing even though we did not communicate clearly beforehand. Lovely host!

Bryan and Marisa met while Marisa was an AirBnb host in Flordia, the two stayed in touch over a year and now are happy to be hosting together up in Boston!
We are also frequent AirBnb guests during our traveling adventures. Bryan being a professional bartender, and Marisa being a professional Vegan, you can always be sure there is something interesting to eat and drink around our apartment!
We're the best, book with us! ;)
