This quaint country house is perfectly located between Mackinaw City and Harbor Springs, offering a peaceful Northern Michigan getaway just a short drive from Mackinac Island. The cozy home features two sleeping areas, a private bedroom and a charming loft. Guests can explore our unique vintage salvage gallery, enjoy friendly farm animals including chickens, goats, and rabbits, and wander scenic walking paths. With an abundance of birds and butterflies, it’s a relaxing up-north nature retreat.

The space
The Little House has a fully functional kitchen and bathroom including cast iron claw-foot tub. Washer and Dryer available in the house as well. The Little House is in front of a very quiet salvage yard, which is slowly being transformed into a Junkyard Gallery.

Other things to note
The Little House is exactly how it sounds, a little house. Perfect for relaxing and taking time for yourselves. Pets are allowed in and on the property, just note we have dogs that are also on the property. We do suggest bringing a leash for your pets as the yard isn't fenced in, but you're more than welcome to let them roam free. We also ask that there is no smoking in the house. Also, there is no air conditioning, but we do provide three fans.The house is near the road, though it is a quiet road. It is located on the same property as an up and coming Junkyard Gallery, which will be full of flowers and old classic cars.

Neighborhood is very quiet with minimal traffic. Sturgeon Bay Beach (Lake Michigan) is just 4.7 miles away and our local Store is 2.4 miles
The Bliss Polo runs every summer and is located across from the Bliss Store. Very cool to watch the horses!

Every Saturday morning during the summer months, a Farmer's Market is located near the Bliss Store and by the Bliss Fire Department to buy fresh produce, honey, and much more from the local community.

The location of our air bnb has been in my family for 100 years. The property has been in the Kilpatrick Family for many generations. I grew up here, as well. Yes, Bliss is a rural location, but you will not be disappointed. Look forward to meeting people from across the world!
