Enjoy the luxurious pillow top Queen bed and linens. Enjoy digital cable with HDTV and WiFi. All cottages are equipped with a comfort system that includes cozy heat when its cold and cool air conditioning when its hot outside. The living rooms include an infrared fireplace for a little extra heat and ambiance. The kitchen is equipped with range, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and small appliances. Each unit has it's own BBQ.
When you make a reservation please inform us of the total number of people who will be occupying the cottage including children. All children 3 years of age and older are considered an additional guest and subject to the additional $10 per night fee. For example if there are 2 adults and 2 children 3 years or over that would be a total of 4 guests. Also, let us know if you will be needing an air bed and bedding for an additional person.
Note on Rates: As the listing heading indicates, nightly rates vary depending on the time of year and are adjusted regularly from a low $79 per night in the off season (very low demand) to $195 in the peak season (very high demand). You will know what your rate is before you make a reservation. Once you make a reservation you nightly rate will not change.
All guests share access to a secure storage shed. The combination to the lock can be found in the house manual.
Interaction with Guests
We provide a keyless entry system. The keycode will be sent in a separate email.
Our goal is to meet and interact with as many guests as possible, but there are times when we can't meet everyone face-to-face. You can always message or call us if you have any questions. Contact info will be provided when you make a reservation.

When you stay at Drake Park Cottages you'll have great views from the communal court yard, and be right across the street from the iconic Drake Park, Mirror Pond the Drake Park Historic Neighborhood, and The Deschutes River.
You'll be a few steps away from enjoying a nice stroll in the park, kayaking or paddle boarding the river, or riding the shuttle to the Old Mill District to float the river.
Then its just a short walk to some of Bend's best restaurants, brew pubs, and attractions. Go West on NW Galveston Ave. and enjoy several of Bend's finest eating establishments, bakeries, and shops. Take a walk through the park or up NW Riverside Blvd. to downtown Bend and catch a show at The Tower Theater or drop into one of the many shops, bistros, restaurants, or nightclubs.
Its a short bike ride or drive to The Old Mill District where you may catch a concert at The Les Schwab Amphitheater or stroll around The Shops at The Old Mill.
Drake Park Cottages are in a premiere location. Riverside Blvd. is heavily traveled at times and you may hear some light traffic noise in the evening or morning. The vast majority of our guests have never mentioned the traffic noise, but a few have. If you want to stay in a quieter, less central location then you should look for lodging further away from the hustle and bustle.

Perfect for walking or biking. Public transit is available and there are bike racks on the BAT buses that you can catch at various places throughout Bend.
Other Things to Note
Guest Information is located inside each cottage. Please read it.
CHECK-IN IS BETWEEN 4:00PM and 9:00PM and CHECK-OUT IS NO LATER THAN 11:00AM . No early/late check-ins or late check-outs without prior written approval. Unapproved early/late check-ins or late check-outs will be charged an additional $25 fee to be collected from the security deposit. No parking until 4:00 PM and vehicles must be removed by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. This agreement does not create a tenancy or residence. You must depart at the appropriate time.
Pets: Pets are not permitted inside the cottages.
Good Neighbor Policy: You are a guest in a residential neighborhood that has full time residents. Think of yourselves as neighbors in the neighborhood too. Peaceful enjoyment of the neighborhood is of utmost importance. If you respect these Good Neighbor Policies you should have an enjoyable stay and the neighbors will appreciate that. Who knows, you may even make a few friends.
Say hello to the neighbors if you see them. Be neighborly!
No loud parties and the noise needs to be down by10:00pm.
Don't litter our property or the neighbors property. Put all trash and empty beverage cans or bottles in the trash bins and recycle bins provided.
Don't go onto other property without permission.
Obey the speed limit in the neighborhood.
Please contact us if you have any issues with neighbors or other guests or contact law enforcement (911) if you witness or suspect any criminal activity, then call one of us.
Be Respectful of Other Guests: Because the cottages are attached to each other sound travels through the walls so please be respectful of other guests and their quiet enjoyment and be aware that you may hear activity in the attached cottages. If the noise level becomes disruptive please call us. Be aware the City of Bend noise ordinance is enforced between10:00PM – 8:00AM.
Parking: Your parking is the pavered area in front of 473 Riverside per the diagram posted on the building and in this booklet. There is one (1) parking place per cottage. Parking spaces are not assigned. If your party has more than 1 vehicle you must park it on the street where available. Do not block the sidewalk or driveway (public right-of-way). If you have visitors they will need to park on the street. Off-street parking is for guests only.
Security Deposit: The security deposit is not applied toward rent. It is fully refundable within 14 days of departure provided the following provisions are met:
No damage done to cottage or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
No lingering odors on furniture or bedding from scented oils or topical medications.
No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets, or smoking inside the cottage during the stay.
No linens are lost or damaged.
No oil leaks on the driveway.
No unapproved early check-in or late check-outs.
No additional heating devices are used.
No clogging of sewer system (see water and sewer section)
The Guest is not evicted by Host, property management, or law enforcement.
Recreational Equipment: Up to (two) bikes may be permitted in the cottage with prior approval. Otherwise, all bikes, floating devises, skis, boards and other recreational equipment are not permitted in the cottages but can be stored in the secure storage shed in the SW corner of the property to store your recreational equipment. You may secure other items outside of the building. The storage shed will not accommodate kayaks or canoes. NOTE: We do not provide any recreational equipment. The combination to the storage shed lock is 14-24-06 only registered guests and the Hosts.
Smoking: Smoking of any kind is prohibited inside the cottages and is only allowed outside, at least 10 feet from other guest suites. All smoking waste must be disposed of in outside garbage bins provided.
Guest Conduct: No illegal drugs may be brought onto the property. Loud and unruly behavior, including parties, extreme intoxication, or any other disruptive behavior and the guest will be immediately removed by security personnel or law enforcement. No refunds.
Occupancy: Maximum occupancy is 3 people. Children 3 year and older are considered 1 person. People other than those in the Guest party may not stay overnight on the property without prior approval. Any guest visitors on the property are the sole responsibility of the Guest. Hosts would like the Guest to be able to entertain friends, however, if more than 2 guests of the Guests are to be on the property Guest will need to get permission from the host/property manager.
Hold Harmless: The Hosts are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises or its facilities, nor for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest. By making a reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
Key-less Entry: You are provided with a key code for the keyless entry. When entering, simply enter the key code slowly and push the top button. The door should unlock. To lock the door when you leave make sure it is closed all the way, press the top button. Wait to listen that the door is locked by hearing a beep and the top button flashes green. We provide a manual lock box in the case that the keyless entry malfunctions. You will need to contact us for that code.
Garbage and Recycling: The garbage can is located behind the complex on the south side. It is the large Blue container. The Recycle for everything but glass is the smaller container. The recycle bins for glass are the small Red containers. Garbage and recycle pick up are on Tuesdays.
Heating & Air Conditioning: The cottages are equipped with WiFi enabled Smart Thermostats so that we may monitor the heating cooling system remotely and adjust or program as needed. Guests are able to increase or decrease the indoor temperature as desired. The electric fireplaces are available for back-up heat only. If the outside temperature drops below 15 degrees you may use the fireplace for heat. The thermostats will display the outdoor temperature. The fireplace will heat the entire unit. Otherwise, enjoy the fireplace for a little added ambiance.
Electronics: We provide Smart HDTV's, HD cable and WiFi enabled functionality. We also provide a small stereo for your music enjoyment. We will provide you with the security key for the WiFi Internet as well.
Snow and Ice: We are required to clear the walkways and driveway after a major snow storm within 24 hours. In order to clear the parking area all vehicles will need to be moved to the street. We do provide snow shovels and ice melt for you to use to clear the landing, walkways or other areas and recommend you do so as needed.
Housekeeping and Cleaning: There is no daily housekeeping service. Linens, bath and beach towels are included. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the unit. We suggest you bring your own beach towels if you plan to take them off the premises. If you are staying for more than (14 nights) your lodging fees include a basic weekly cleaning. We will have access to the cottage on a pre-determined day/time for weekly cleanings. Weekly cleanings will consist of cleaning the floors, wiping the tables, cleaning the bathroom, wiping down the kitchen, and vacuuming the floors and furniture. You will need to make sure all rooms are accessible and reasonably clear of obstacles for cleaning. Full cleaning services (including the changing of beds) is available for a fee of $100.
Supplies: We provide an initial supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soap, spices, cooking oil, coffee and coffee filters. Guests will need to resupply at their expense if more supplies are needed.
Repairs and Maintenance: We conduct regular maintenance on each of the cottages both inside and out as needed. We will let you know if we need to perform any work on the interior with advance notice. Please let us know if there is anything that needs to be repaired or replaced.
Damaged or Missing Items: We realize accidents happen and are not too concerned with the occasional broken wine glass, however as a reminder you are responsible for any damaged items that need to be replaced or repaired due to misuse. It's best to let us know if something is damaged while you are occupying the cottage.
WiFi Connection: We have a WiFi guest network set-up for our guests. To logon find Drake Park Guest from the available networks and enter the PWto log on. If you experience a WiFi outage please contact us.
Security: You are staying in a very busy section of downtown Bend with lots of night spots nearby, car traffic, and foot traffic. We currently do not have a security system and there may be rare instances of theft and mischief that occur so here are some precautions you should take.
Please be sure to lock the doors, windows and close the blinds when you leave. Press the button at the top of the key lock and that will lock the door.
Turn on the porch light.
Lock your vehicle and place any valuables in the trunk or secure them in the room. If you have bikes or any other recreational equipment be sure to secure them in the storage shed, to the building or on your vehicle.
Note: We are not responsible for theft or damage to any of your personal property. It is up to you to secure your personal property.
Acts of God: The Hosts are not be responsible for acts of God that may result in loss of electricity, internet connectivity, or television. When reported, we'll do our best to contact the appropriate company to help expedite repairs.
Firearms: Please declare ANY firearms you intend to have on the premises.
Payments: All Payments are processed by Airbnb.
Rate Changes: Rates are subject to change without notice but will not change once your reservation has been confirmed. An extended stay beyond your initial reservation will be subject to the rates at that time.
Check-Out Procedures: When your stay is completed and you are ready to check-out please do the following.
1. Close and lock all windows and close blinds.
2. Turn off all lights, small appliances and fireplaces.
3. Remove your trash and recyclables.
4. Put all dirty/used towels in the bathtub.
6. Leave all bedding and pillows on the beds.
7. Report any damaged or missing items to your Hosts.
8. Make sure you have ALL of your belongings.
Cancellations and Refunds: See “Strict” Airbnb/Host Cancellation/Refund policy in the listing. Refunds are only considered based on “extenuating Circumstances” as defined by Airbnb.
Written Exceptions: Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing by the Hosts in advance.
Termination: If Guest violates the terms of these House Rules, this rental agreement may be terminated and the guest will vacate the premises immediately and all unused fees will not be refunded.
