About This Listing
Located in the heart of Manzanita and only one block to the beach. Ours is a lovely rural Inn built in the 40's, family owned and operated continuously ever since. I believe you will find it well-maintained, affordable, clean and ready for your visit.
The whole town is quite walkable. Park your car when you arrive and browse the shops, restaurants and spas that Manzanita has to offer. Relax, and rejuvenate. Or head off to the nearby 9 hole executive golf course, hike up Neahkahnie Mountain, enjoy the two State parks at either end ... kayak ... or fly fish the Nehalem River. The world is your oyster here; and the oysters are fresh caught daily.
Your room abuts an inner garden where, on a pleasant day, you can enjoy a book and the flowers, away from the cares of the world outside.
We think you'll find the room is spacious, TWO queen-sized beds, and well equipped with a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, TV and DVD player. Wi-Fi and a carefully selected library of DVD movies are complimentary (we're movie buffs). We have another room with a full kitchenette, if you're interested ask if that's available.
Please see pet confirmation, and no smoking policy, below.
Please take good care of everything. No smoking, no pets unless a pet-friendly room is reserved by calling or email to confirm it's available. 48 hour cancellation, except special holidays like July Fourth. Two night minimum stay on weekends during Summer only; otherwise one night is acceptable (though we hope you'll stay longer; Manzanita is a lovely relatively undiscovered spot).
This room may be able to accommodate pets; you need to verify if a pet friendly room is available. The pet fee is $10/night. No smoking is permitted on the property.
Please see other policies and (email hidden).
We didn't run into Stewart, but were well taken care of. The place was exactly as described, the hidden courtyard is lovely, and the place is just a few blocks from the beach. I would stay here again.
Bob and Lori were super accommodating and friendly to my mom and I on our recent visit to Manzanita. Bob even upgraded us upon arrival and did so with the kind of "random acts of kindness" vibe that a well traveled, aware person carries. The inn itself is well appointed, comfortable and a stone's throw from the ocean. We really enjoyed the quiet courtyard, the kitchenette and the small comforts like cozy blankets and a nice dvd collection to peruse. We parked the car when we rolled into town and didn't get back in until we left, two-days later. What a treat! The food in the area was great and Bob had many suggestions--you can tell he knows and loves the area. I will definitely be back for another visit and am certain it will be just as charming and relaxing. Thanks, Bob and all!
Quick note that we enjoyed having you here. You are the kind of guest that makes our job worthwhile. We have a passion for hospitality and love it when it translates to the guest. Spending time with your Mom is precious. Glad we could enhance that experience for you. Truly hope to see you again.
Simple, clean, and very comfortable. Host was helpful and manzanita is charming. Would stay again!
The accommodations at the Spindrift Inn were wonderful! They were very flexible and understanding with our later arrival and left our key in a lockbox on our room door. The room was clean, pleasant, and very comfortable. The place is very charming and so close to the beach. I would recommend staying there and will hopefully be back again!
Don gave great restaurant recommendations to us when we checked in. There was local taffy out to enjoy too.
This is my 3rd time staying at the Spindrift Inn and I had yet another lovely time! It's very cute, and in a fantastic location right by the beach, and close to great food and shopping. I will definitely be staying here again!
It was nice! One block from the beach! Bob and Gucci were friendly hosts and upgraded our room! The shower water pressure was amazing and the area is very quiet. Walking distance to everything. Great place to stay in Manzanita!

About the Host, Stewart
I'm in love with Nature and the North Coast of Oregon. Over a 35 year period I visited this area, learned to appreciate the community, and enjoyed the ability to explore and connect with Nature. So when the Millenniun arrived, my wife and I moved here full time, and bought a small Inn and Carmel Cottage.
I hope you will enjoy these lovely spots as much as we do. Please use the Cottage as a base for your stay in Manzanita - to skip along the 6 mile Beach, hike the Mountain, ride bikes in the park, shop our quaint stores, crab or kayak ... and explore the Coast.
But be careful; you may get hooked too. ;-)
