A perfect base in the authentic village Dorio on the Peloponnese. From Athens airport you are in 2.5 hours in a rental car in the village and from the Airport of Kalamata in 25 minutes. From here you can explore the beautiful area has to offer this peninsula. In the village you will come across some locals who will welcome you with the warm Greek hospitality and you can enjoy the real Greek life.

Where you’ll be

Dorio, Greece

The village has a supermarket, several restaurants and a periptero for anything and everything. Every Friday there is a market where you can find fruit and vegetables in abundance. At about 15 minutes drive there is to find a Lidl and Carrefour in the direction of Kyparissia, which is the nearest town. Kalamata is about a 25 minute drive, which can be very good to drive through the new roads have been constructed in the area in recent years. Nearby are several beaches like Kalo Nero and Sunny Paradise. Kalo Nero is also a beachfront pool equipped with shallow children's pool and restaurant. Incidentally, this area is also safe to travel with children as we ourselves always do.
