Overall, we are satify this apartment and Lucia is quite nice waitting for us for the arrival and give us lots of recommendations. We will still choose Lucia's apartment if we go to Firenze again.
This apartment is much bigger than it appears in pictures and the prettiest one we stayed in in Italy. We loved having breakfast to the sound of excited art lovers and accordion players on the street below waiting to get into the academia. There is a grocery about 3 doors down. It is a beautiful place to start and end the day in Florence. Lucia was very helpful and a wonderful hostess. It was nice to have laundry. The only thing to note is the bed is very hard. Other than that, the place is perfect.
Traditional, spacious apartment with excellent facilities. Very clean and in a great location, near all of Florence's attractions. Lucia was very helpful and met us at the apartment. Highly recommended.
My husband and I truly enjoyed Firenze. Firenze is rich in both history and art. Lucia was a very nice host. She was very detailed in explaining everything one needs to know about the apartamento. The pictures are exactly as noted. It is very nice and spacious apartment. Since it is across La Academia it may seem a bit noisy but since the room is the back, the noise is minimized. The place is central and walking distance to several tourist sites, restaurants, food market and more. I truly enjoyed staying at this place. Lucia also gave us great suggestions about places to eat.
My husband and I enjoyed three delightful days in Firenze, while staying in Le Belle Arti 2. The host, Lucia, was easy to communicate with and helpful with questions. The apartment is lovely and centrally located within a ten minute walk to all the historical sites and art museums (with the Accademia across the street!)
The apartment is well represented in the photos. The only surprise was the extreme height of the ceilings! The furnishings were quite comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, there was generous storage for your things, and the apartment was very clean. My favorite thing was the large bathtub to soak in after a long day of walking.
There is a small market within a block where they have all you might need, including some nice fresh fruits and veggies, and even salads ready-to-go. Just around the corner is San Marcos square, with a few restaurants, bars, a gelateria, a bus stop and a taxi stand. So, as I and others have noted, perfectly located!
Beautiful, large apartment in the historic center of Florence. During our three day stay in Florence, this was a perfect apartment for seeing it all. No-one really mentioned it in the reviews, but it is a block from a bus stop that has numerous buses running and that made it easier to see the city.
The wifi worked great in the living room. Like others mentioned, during the day you hear the noise from the line of the Accademia, but we actually liked it because it often was filled with accordion or some other kind of music. It is quiet in the bedroom regardless. Lucia was good at quick communication before and during the trip. Helped us out with figuring out the clothes washer. Bed is a bit firm, but we loved everything else about the apartment. It's a great space to relax when you are too tired to continue out and about, but it's also a good leaping pad. Clean, well maintained. Pictures show the apartment very accurately.

About the Host, Lucia
Hello, I am a retired high school Maths and Physics teacher and have recently completed a course on the museums of Florence. My family is historically from Florence, but I first moved here in the early 1990’s with my husband and three daughters. In the summer I spend most of my time in the countryside just outside of Florence where we have a country house with wine yards and also rent flats for guests. I can guarantee you a comfortable stay and professional service.
