Bright single bedroom in a shared apartment in central London (Zone One) in Chelsea very close to the major sights and only a few minutes walk from Earls Court tube station. The flat is very bright and sunny with great views over the garden square.
I'm offering the second bedroom in my two-bedroom flat in central London (Zone 1). There is a shared kitchen, bathroom & living room and breakfast is included: cereals, tea, coffee and milk. The flat is on the third floor – it’s a historic Victorian townhouse property, but unfortunately no lift. The building is on a garden square and the flat has great sunny views overlooking the gardens. It is between Chelsea and Earls Court just a five-minute walk from Earls Court underground station on the Picadilly and District lines, about 45 minutes direct from Heathrow.
You are surrounded by many restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and tourist attractions. The Victoria & Albert, Natural History and Science museums are about twenty minutes away and Harrods only another ten minutes. Chelsea football stadium is only a ten-minute walk.
The room has a single bed, so only suitable for one person. It's a 2-bedroom flat and you will be in the second bedroom.
On 11 October, I will only get back to clean the room around 8pm, but you're more than welcome to Check in whenever you want, although I am not entirely sure when the previous guests are leaving.
Ample towels and bed linen are provided and you're welcome to use anything and everything in the shared kitchen. There is a shared bathroom.
Some guests seek social interaction, others just want a room and privacy and I'm equally happy with both ends of the spectrum and anything inbetween. In the past, I've had one guest who became a frequent tenant and we spent a couple of weeks hiking together in Turkey. At the other extreme, there was one chap whom I never actually met in person, despite living in the same flat for multiple days.
You are surrounded by many restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and tourist attractions. The Victoria & Albert, Natural History and Science museums are about twenty minutes walk away and Harrods only another ten minutes. You can see Chelsea football stadium from the window.
The flat is just a five-minute walk from Earls Court underground station on the Piccadilly and District lines, so about 45 minutes direct from Heathrow airport. There are nearby bus stops with a frequent service in and around the city. There is also a bike rental station at one corner of the square – visible from the flat !
I only have one property, but rent out one room, both rooms or the the entire flat from time to time. There are multiple listings of the entire flat to allow for varying terms at different times of the year.
Really enjoyed my stay at Andrew's. The flat was lovely and clean, very nice bathroom. Everything was great, and Andrew was a very accomodating host. I enjoyed our conversations, as well.
The flat is a short walk from Earls Court tube station, and in a lovely neighborhood. Plenty of shops and cafes within walking distance.
Overall, a lovely B&B and I would definitely recommend it.
Had a great 3 days stay at Andrews place.
Room was as advertised and perfect for one person.
Andrew was welcoming, helpfull and plesent and made me feel at home right away.
The place was very tidy and clean and it shows andrew takes great care of it.
It has a lot of windows for the sunlight to come through and the view is very nice too.
It was about 5 minuets walk from earl's court tube station and it takes around 20 minuets to get to the centre of london which was great.
If your coming to/from gatwick ,there is an "easybus" station about 15 minuets walk from the appartment. It takes around and hour from the airport.
You can go the "gatwick express"-Victoria-Earl's court way too.
The area seemed safe at late hours too.
The only disturbing thing was passing the graveyard at 3am on the way to the easybus station :)
Price was on par with other airbnb rooms in the area and was well worth it for me.
I had a fantastic stay with Andrew! Andrew is an incredibly generous and obliging host who goes out of his way to make sure you are happy, comfortable, and having a good time in London. He is great company and a wealth of knowledge on things to see and do. I felt really at home in his apartment for the 3 weeks I was lucky enough to stay with him. The room is super clean, comfortable and warm, and the apartment is spacious and well equipped - it was fantastic to have full use of the kitchen and washing machine! The apartment is in a fantastic location only minutes walk from Earl's Court tube station (zone 1). I highly recommend staying with Andrew.
Wonderful stay at Andrew's place. Nice, clean and roomy apartment with perfect views to the city. Andrew provided almost everything for me. Not got used to chilly weather in London yet but Andrew promptly followed up on and made sure I was all ok and not cold. Well supplied kitchen, in-house laundry, nice amenities and easy access to public transport. Andrew is a super friendly and thoughtful host and I had the perfect home away from home.
Going to Andrew's was my first airbnb experience, i was a bit worried but actually it went very well. It was very easy to communicate and organise the check in and check out and other details. I found everything as it was presented on the add and the flat was very clean and tidy.
Andrew was also very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable from the very first moment. Staying at Andrew's was a nice human experience as well. Just a pleasure to meet a nice, kind and sincere person.
Based in an excellent location between the Underground at Earl's Court and the bus line at Edith Grove, Andrew's flat afforded direct access to Central London at the drop of a hat. The flat is well decorated and looked after attesting not only to Andrew's careful consideration but also his experience and relaxed atmosphere regarding guests. I felt very comfortable and content with the setup. Andrew was also excellent company. I would thoroughly recommend it.
I had a good stay at Andrew's place. The appartment was clean and the room is fine. Andrew was very friendly.
Great location and a great host. It was a pleasure staying with Andrew and chatting with him. The place is spotless and very comfortable. I'm definitely staying there when in London and i recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
Andrew was a great host! He immediately made me feel welcome and was extremely generous with offers to do laundry, hang clothes, cook, etc. All the things that make a stay feel more relaxing.
Everything was how it was presented in the profile.
I would definitely stay with Andrew again!
Andrew is really a great host, conversations with him were a pleasure. It is the first time I airbnb, and frankly, I have been lucky to meet him.
His flat is ideally situated with all necessary connections and at walking distance of many points of interest, lots of restaurants and shopping possibilities in the neighborhood.
The house in a beautiful square has the charm of Victorian London, and the flat has beautiful views on the trees.
The room, bathroom and the flat are well equipped and kept very neat and clean.
Thank you Andrew, I'll contact you again for my next trip.
