  • We recently spent six nights in Syl and Adam's bungalow. Syl has taken every step to insure that her guests feel at home, and has managed to provide everything you might need. The private patio was a real plus when we wanted to sit outside after a busy day on the go. Both Syl and Adam were very responsive to any requests that we (website hidden): transportation......If you plan on going to Hollywood or downtown LA, I would say a car is necessary as the public transportation is difficult to navigate.

  • Adam and Syl were wonderful hosts. Everything you could possibly need is right where you think it should be, and if it's not, Syl has left cute labels to help you find things. They are there when you need them and instantly respond to text messages, but respect your privacy, even though they are right around the corner. We enjoyed our private patio, and the game room was a roomy place to organize our gear since we traveled by car from Texas. Off street parking was very convenient and the cottage location in Burbank is perfect for a central LA visit without the chaos of downtown. We would have stayed longer, but our reservation time ran out. Syl was so sweet, she tried to find us another cool place to spend a few days.

  • Syl and Adam provided a warm and cozy place for my wife and I to call home for our first week in Burbank (settling in for my new job). That fireplace made it special and was just the thing when the weather turned rainy later during our week-long stay. Everything was clean and neatly organized, and clear instructions made check-in easy. The attached rec room with the ping pong table and board games provided a nice diversion for the rainy days (and a place for our cat to run and play!) On sunnier days or clear evenings the tree-lined neighborhood provided walk-able access to Starbucks, good restaurants, along with CVS and Fresh and Easy. In a word, we loved our stay!

  • My boyfriend, two dogs, and I had a wonderful time :) The location felt very safe, it was very clean, and --as others have commented-- they have it stocked with everything you need!! Our dogs loved having the outdoor patio space to get a taste of the outdoors, and we found the bed to be insanely comfortable! We briefly met Adam and Syl, and both were so friendly/welcoming/enthusiastic... the way some people just have that "oh, we've been friends forever!" type quality about them during conversation.
Would definitely come back and recommend :)

  • Love love love this place. Felt like home, but better. So comfortable, very private, great location. Syl and Adam have thought of everything you could possibly need (except maybe a flower vase -or maybe I just couldn't find it). I wish I could move in permanently. My dog loved it too, she also felt right at home and welcome. Can't wait to have a reason to go back.

  • Syl and Adam couldn't have been better hosts to my parents. Period. They made their visit from New Jersey that much better. Syl even went as far as to DVR Downton Abbey for my mom:) Their place is just adorable and they are just the nicest people. My first experience with air bnb was a smash hit! Thanks guys!

  • Great experience, hosts and apartment. I highly recommend.

  • My wife and I spent a few days at Adam & Syl's place in Burbank and we absolutely loved it! It was set up so perfectly and so well thought out. They have thought of everything. It was in a great location and it is such a comfortable, lovely little place. We will definitely look to stay here again on future trips to LA. Thanks guys!

  • Stayed at Syl & Adams for two days over NYE, 2013 to 2014, with my son and our boxer dog.
Place is exactly as described, in a beautiful Burbank neighborhood. LOVED it, they have thought of every tiny thing you might forget or need. (Q-tips, AWESOME!)

The place is cozy, well taken care of, very quiet, private and comfortable. The neighborhood is a beauty to walk through with your dog, or alone. One block away there is a Starbucks and Fresh-n-Easy grocery store.

We were going to Universal Studios, and their place was less then 10 minutes away by car.

I will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in LA! Syl and Adam were always quick to respond to messages if I had any questions.

You can not go wrong staying here...unless it when I want to visit.

    Thank you Syl & Adam!

  • Syl and Adam's place was PERFECT for my trip to LA. Super easy access to Burbank airport was an excellent plus so that I could avoid LAX. Comfortable bed, huge TV, extra toiletries in case you forgot anything, and a great little workspace so I could get some computing done. My stay was just before Christmas and they even had some holiday lights up! #AWESOME

About
I'm a USC Dramatic Arts grad, born and raised in Burbank. My husband Adam is a photographer, specializing in kids' fashion and celeb portraits, and prior to that, he was an actor from age 6-27. We are high school sweethearts, together since Y2K, and we were married in 2009. Right now, we're in the process of launching The Headshot Truck, an all-inclusive mobile photography studio for actors! Busy, busy! Oh yeah, and we're in the home stretch of a semi-DIY home renovation. (Don't worry, it's when we don't have any Airbnb guests ;) We have 3 furry dog-kids, Sophie (Maltese, 8), Bella (Maltese, 6) and Dudley (Border/Terrier mix, 2). That's it for now. We love- (all) food, family, coffee, movies, going on adventures, craft beer, interesting architecture/design/art/photography, history, Pandora/Spotify, Red Laser, Amazon Prime ...and food. :) I have a sweet spot for savory foods (bread, pasta, cheese, popcorn, steak, quinoa....), and Adam just loves sweets (cookies, chocolate, muffins, cake...). We love green juice. There's a really yummy juice place nearby too. Mmmm. We watch all the Oscar buzzy movies during the Christmas season, and watch the Awards show every year. It's tradition. We've watched HIMYM since the beginning. Loved Lost. Now we're on Brooklyn Nine Nine, Modern Family, The Goldbergs, Newsroom, True Blood, Walking Dead, Mad Men, Masters of Sex, Homeland, Episodes, SYTYCD, and VEEP. Wow. We kinda do watch a lot of TV. But that's ok cuz we get A LOT done. :) I love Super Soul Sunday on OWN. Adam loves Two and a Half Men. Pretty much anything somebody put love, thought, care and attention to detail into, we really notice and appreciate. Even if it's a deli sandwich or a little container garden. Sadly, I have a black thumb, but I'm working on it! When we travel, we pride ourselves on going EVERYWHERE. We know how to pack it in. We hit the tourist stops, but always love asking the locals what their favorite spots are- that's the BEST. A Highlight: We went skydiving at 8am New Year's Day, 2007 in Oahu's North Shore. Spectacular morning view with the green island surrounded by miles of blue ocean. Awesome way to kick off the year. When you stay with us, we want you to feel special, comfortable and taken care of! We've tried to think of everything you might need in advance. If we've forgotten something, be sure to reach out! We are happy to interact with you as much or as little as you like. Our listed space is separate with its own private entrance, but we're just a quick text message away. We tend to attract the yummiest, high vibing people, and that's really awesome. I believe that positive intentions are powerful, and that compassion, empathy, non-judgement and a warm smile can create the world we all hope for, one person at a time. xo S
