They were all that we could ask for. Jackie and company were amazingly helpful and friendly. The room was clean and pleasant.
The Yarma Jackeline And Miriam house is an ideal place to stay. The house is spacious and comfortable, there is a kitchen that can be used without problems, a very nice living room where one can sit and watch a bit of TV, and a terrace to sit and drink. The place is such that you can see in the photos of cute.
The apartment location is very good, is a quiet place where there isnt noise and yet close to everything you may need in the heart of Miraflores.
Definitely a place I recommend to stay, but mainly by the climate in the house, it's like a big family that forms where then one will not go.
Jackie and Yarma make there place feel like your own home, plus it's in an great location, very safe and comfortable! The house is always spotless and the other guests are all very friendly if there are any guests, I think I had the whole house to myself last stay! I would Definitely recommend staying here if your unsure.
There is no reason to stay anywhere else if you're in Lima. Great location in Miraflores that is walking distance to many fabulous restaurants, shopping, and the business district. A beautiful home that is safe, clean, and comfortable. Jackie, Yarma, and Miriam made me feel welcome and I really felt like I was at home. The rooms were very nice and the bathroom perfect. Whether you are relaxing downstairs watching a movie or enjoying a glass of wine on the rooftop terrace, you are sure to be welcomed and comfortable at their home. This is the only place I will now stay when I'm in Lima. Thank you Jackie, Yarma and Miriam for such a great stay!
This was a fantastic place to stay. Jackie and Yarma were extremely helpful, and could not have been better hosts. Their knowledge of Lima, Cusco (their hometown) and Peru in general is great. The house is very central to the Miraflores area and close to the Metro (bus), so it's very easy to get to the historic center. The rooms were clean and big, and the showers were great too! Can't say enough good things about the place, gracias mis tias en Peru!
Jackeline was an amazing host! She gave us helpful tips before we arrived and waited up for us even though we arrived late.
The room was gorgeous and all of the bathrooms, the kitchen and living areas were spotless. Breakfast was generous and tasty and we used the kitchen to cook a few times - it had everything we needed.
The house is very close to everything in Miraflores and Jackie and her sister where really helpful when we had any questions about what to do and how to get around.
Thank you for welcoming us and making our trip to Lima so comfortable. We hope to come visit again sometime.
Jackie and Yarma where the most lovely hostesses helping me out with taxis, information on things to do, or places to see. the breakfast was included aswell which I must've not read when booking and a great extra with fresh fruit juice, fruit, bread, tea and coffee. I intend to be visiting Lima again and will be hoping A room is available with Jackie and Yarma. I Definitely recommend staying here as it's close to many good restaurants and its a very safe and secure home away from home.
Jackie and Miriam were wonderful hosts, very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our delayed flight arrived in the middle of the night and they were waiting for us at 3 am. The room and house were very clean at a quiet and convenient location.
This is a fantastic place to stay. Jackie is a wonderful host who goes out several extra miles to ensure you feel completely at home. I stayed for five nights in a half business-half holiday trip and couldn't have asked for more. It was PERFECT. Convenient location in beautiful Miraflores area, delicious healthy breakfast, spotless colorful house, and the warmth of a Peruvian home. Thanks again for this great experience.
I travel quite a lot, usually in Europe, but I went for my first trip ever to South America last month, so I really knew nothing about my destination and I had no idea what to expect. I usually stay in hotels (usually Ibis hotels throughout Europe because they suit me well as a motorcycle traveller) but because I was searching for longer stay in Cusco, I had a look around The Net and came across airbnb and booked a 12 day stay in Cusco (Carlos, Saphi).
Because of my excellent experience in Cusco I sought an airbnb in Lima on the way back and I consider myself very fortunate to have found Jackeline and Miriam’s house. It is ideally located in Miraflores, and is set back from the street through a private gate so it is very quiet – that is important to me. The house is newly and beautiful decorated. Each bedroom is differently themed in the style of one of the Peruvian pre-Columbian cultures.
I must confess that some of the reason I stay in hotels is because of their anodyne anonymity, and the idea that ‘tu casa es mi casa’ (in the words of Mr Gnaeus Pompey and Mr Francisco Pizarro) is a bit of an anxiety for me, but the extraordinary welcome which Jackeline and Miriam afforded me has changed my mind on this. Apart from their beautiful home, superb breakfast, and the ideal location, my experience was so sublimely relaxed (they did everything for me when I needed it and left me alone when I wanted to be alone), I really believe that is the place to stay in Lima.
When you read reviews on websites such as airbnb you wonder if they are real, genuine, deceitful or confabulated - how can you tell? Please believe me this is a wonderful place to stay and if any doubt about Jackeline and Miriam, feel free to contract me via airbnb.
