This cozy cottage is the perfect home base for your Yosemite trip, located less than an hour to Yosemite National Park.

Cozy up in front of the warm wood stove or sit out on the deck and enjoy the natural surroundings.

The space
This cozy cottage is roughly 1100 sq feet, nicely furnished and nestled on 11 acres of wooded land. After a long day of fun-filled activities, drift to sleep in one of the two cozy bedrooms with freshly-cleaned comfortable bedding. The modest kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a fabulous meal. Relax on the deck, which has a barbecue grill and seating to enjoy nature at its finest.  

During the winter months, warm up with the wood burning stove and standard gas heating.  During the summer months, cool off with air conditioned rooms and ceiling fans. 

For entertainment, we have a Smart TV, where you can stream Netflix or Hulu.

After a long day of hiking, soak in the hot tub surrounded by nature.

Guests will have access to the entire house and 11 acres of wooded property.

Other things to note
We are happy to provide pet friendly accommodations! We allow house-trained dogs. First, it’s an extra $100 per stay. Should you book, we will send a separate request for the fee, which you will find in the email registered with Airbnb. Further, we reserve the right to charge for any damage caused by your pet.

Second, please keep your dog in a crate if you leave the dog alone in the house for an extended period of time to avoid accidents in the house. We do not provide dog crates so please bring your own - along with a nice blanket and toys :)

Third, please clean up all dog waste in the yard. We do not supply poopbags, so please have your own supply.

We are happy to accommodate your pets! Our standard pet fee applies to up to two dogs (1-2). If you have more than two dogs, we can consider it on a case-by-case basis, with an additional fee.

Hello! We are a married couple who moved from the hustle and bustle of San Francisco for a quieter, more balanced lifestyle that Mariposa was able to offer. We have two fantastic children together and an energetic dog. We enjoy traveling and immersing ourselves in different cultures to gain a wider awareness of our world. In hosting, we appreciate being able to meet so many interesting people and want to provide a truly exceptional Yosemite experience.
