About This Listing
Enjoy everything Marin has to offer right out the front door! Shops, restaurants, downtown, and Mt. Tam hiking all within a short walk. Located on Sycamore Ave, our remodeled and upgraded historic home has all of the modern luxuries.
Enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine under the redwoods on the expansive entertaining deck. Brand new kitchen, upgraded appliances, and gas grill on the back deck for your cooking needs.
I love the details of the small things and really love sharing my cozy and comfortable space with guests from around the world.
This is more of a traditional B&B experience in a home where we live. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared (but primary use) of the upstair floor including living room, kitchen, back deck and yard, and of course you will have private use of the master bedroom and en suite bath.
Let my home be your home away from home!
Interaction with Guests
I travel often but when I am in town I love hosting and meeting new people!
My historic neighborhood of Tamalpais/Sycamore Park is lined with beautiful Sycamore Trees (I have the oldest in the neighborhood right out front!) The streets are flat and everything is within a short walk from the house.
Bus to San Francisco is 2 blocks away
Other Things to Note
Living in the middle of town has it's advantages (walk to EVERYTHING!) but there is a bit of street noise during the day. I have a white machine for guest use if you are sensitive to noise.
I am a frequent AirBnB user and staying in Drea's house was the best AirBnB experience I've had. The house is just beautifully renovated and decorated and has a European/Californian fusion feel. I felt at home!
Drea was great! Unfortunately we were out and about most of the time and didn't actually get to meet her personally, but she was so great to work with via text and email. Her place is very comfortable and homey. The neighborhood was very nice, with a lot to do a block away on Miller Ave, and the surrounding area. I would highly recommend a stay with Drea to anyone traveling to this area. Drea's roommate Natra, (the only one in the home we did meet) informed us that they have lots of guests stay with them, and I think they really know how to work this system very well. I have only good to say about our stay. If we go back to Mill Valley, I'll be checking in here again!
We had a wonderful stay in Mill Valley! The house is very nice, clean and well decorated. We had our private room and bathroom and could use the large kitchen and the very nice patio outside. Drea and her roommate are really nice and welcoming. The location is also perfect, very close to the beautiful Muirwoods forest and to San Francisco by car. A great place to recommend to anyone coming in the area!
Very clean and comfortable accommodation.
We did not link up with the host but we had a relaxing time.
Drea's place was a nice stop over for us as we toured around San Fran one day and took in a day of hiking at Muir Monument the next. We enjoyed wine on the sunny back deck and were in awe at the beautiful trees on her street. Our accommodations were well appointed, clean and comfortable and although we only saw Drea briefly, she was gracious and warm. Mill Valley is equally charming.
Great stay, I was liking for a place the night before I flew home and Drea was very flexible to take me in at short notice. Very nice room and ensuite, nice touch with Netflix in the bedroom. House and room all clean and tidy which is well appreciated. Good instructions from how to find it, to how to get in and use the wifi etc.Well located 15 mins from San Fran and with local shops for food and drink. Definitely recommend it. Thanks Drea much appreciated.
I had a wonderful stay with Drea. The bedroom and bathroom were very cosy and clean, and Drea was a wonderful host. I would definitely stay there again!! Thanks, Drea!
