We enjoyed staying at the apartment in Kazimierz. It was well stocked, clean and a good size overall. As we like to walk everywhere it was ideally situated for exploring Krakow and we preferred staying a little way off (only 15 minutes' walk to Rynek Glowny (main square). Jacek and Natasza had left some very useful travel guides for us. We would recommend this apartment.
The apartment was in a great location. Kamirez is a short walk to The Old Town but was a very easy going/atmospheric area in itself with lots of cafes and restaurants. The studio itself was very clean and had all the mod-cons.
Unfortunately my host only met me briefly and did not spend any time explaining the local area.
Jacek's & Natasza's place is very nice and convieniently located in the center of Krakow.
Jacek was a wonderful host: courteous, helpful and the flat was beautiful.
Very nice stay! It was easy to coordinate with Jacek and Natasha, when we arrived they even shared tips about what to do in the neighborhood. The apartment is fairly spacious for a studio and the location was perfect! It is outside of the tourist trap area. A great spot with local resturants, bars, and still close to all the major sightseeing attractions to walk.
Nice and clean place. I would recommand for sure ;)
The apartment is comfortable and tastefully fitted out, with just the right mixture of old world character and modern convenience. In a pre-war building with surviving art nouveau details such as the peacock mural on the ceiling and the delightful (non-functioning) tiled coal stove, but also with a modern kitchen and bath, comfortable bed, etc. The kitchen cupboard is stocked with dry goods left, I think, by previous guests: coffee and tea and cocoa, salt and pepper and honey and spices.
The location is very nearly ideal: 2 minute walk to the heart of Kazimierz, 5 minutes to Wawel, 15 to the Rynek. Food and shopping and tourist destinations very close by in every direction (good bakery just across the street, excellent pizza a block away, a music club in the basement of the building). Some guests might not be totally happy with the go-go club just two doors down, but it comes with the territory of living in the heart of Krakow's liveliest neighborhood. And despite that liveliness, the apartment was quiet at night, even on Friday and Saturday. A great place to stay.
We had a wonderful stay in one of the loveliest areas of Kraków. Jacek is a very helpful and friendly person. Thank you!!!
