Situated in Giffnock, a lovely suburb in Glasgow’s Southside with great transport links into the city. The house is bright and airy with lots to offer families, as well as groups of friends. The space can be used in a flexible way; the main double bedroom has plenty of room to add a travel cot (I can provide this), bedroom2 can be set up as a single, twin or king, and the lounge has a double sofa bed. There’s also a large south-facing garden.

The space
Great for a group of friends/families. Also good for couples.

The house offers a modernised space, full of amenities for a comfortable stay.

You can park your car in the driveway or utilise the ample street parking.

Other things to note
If you have subscriptions to Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV+, or Paramount+ etc then the Virgin Media TV box will give you access to these using your own logins.

There will be tea, coffee and biscuits available in the house for you to enjoy. Also, so that you can have a good start on your first morning, there will be orange juice, milk, bread, jam and butter in the house for you.

With 2 supermarkets within a 10min walk away, and a Waitrose around an 8min drive, there's plenty of choice for you when stocking up on food for your visit. Neighborhood highlights

An attractive, welcoming neighbourhood; Giffnock itself has a lot to offer. There's a couple of friendly bars as well as a good choice of restaurants. For tasty Fish & Chips, try 'Mario's' on Fenwich Road. If you're looking for some cocktails then you should go to 'Southside' bar + restaurant. You also may want to try 'Pane e Vino', an authentic Italian deli selling a huge selection of wines, cheeses, antipasti etc - it's also a popular choice in the mornings for breakfast. For a family-friendly Italian meal, there's 'Lucali', home of fresh pasta dishes and Neapolitan pizzas. Next to them is ‘Ça Va Bar & Brasserie’, a French-style Bistro...so there’s plenty of choice locally for eating out.

If you like the outdoors, there’s Rouken Glen Park - with a great play area, if you've got kids they'll enjoy a trip here. It's also a good park to just have a wander around, or stop for a coffee at the cafe beside the duck pond. Then there’s the recently refurbished Burrell Collection (winner of the Best Building in Scotland award, 2024), a magnificent museum in the nearby beautiful Pollok Country Park – it's ranked amongst the most significant museum collections in the UK. The park is also home to the stunning Pollok House, and the kids will love seeing the Highland cows as you approach, as well as the new play park beside the museum.

If you're a fan of shopping, Silverburn Shopping Centre, with over 100 shops for you to explore, is only an 8min drive away (there's also a bus there from my street). As well as the likes of Zara, TK Maxx, M&S etc, there's a large variety of eating places and a 14 screen Cineworld Cinema.
