This impeccably furnished, single-story 1/1 Bungalow is right behind the hip and happening Art League Houston and Inversion Coffee. Houston's ONLY walkable neighborhood. This might be the "cutest" house on the best secret street in Montrose/Midtown.
Full House with Yard, ya'll!! L-shape sectional, dining table for 4, full kitchen with everything you need including herbs, olive oil etc. We ask that guests replace what they use or leave a note as to what is running low. This is SUPER well kept, and we only want guests that appreciate the finer details. In LA, this bungalow would go for $3000/mo!
You have a front and back door, laundry room, driveway and street parking, recycling and trash, shower and tub.
We have an on-site property manager and the owner is blocks away. We love to give restaurant, bar, & entertainment input, and prefer to meet our guests personally. We are a young couple living and working in the neighborhood. Keys will be left for you if we aren't able to greet you personally. WELCOME!
Montrose is like Austin. You can bike, walk, ride, and see Houston in all its different iterations. Artists, professionals, yuppies and hippies all mixed in together. Some of Montrose still has its shady side, but LUCKY YOU our street has virtually none of those problems. I never locked my car when I parked here, because the only traffic down this street is people I know live here. Its a real gem.
There ARE buses, but no one does that here. Cabs are cheap, and we now have UBER (Free until the city passes ordinances governing it).
Coffee Shop literally 100 yards away. Food Truck too. You can park on the street or in the driveway. If you have a pet, just ask and we can probably make arrangements (the wood floors are pretty nice so thats an issue).

My stay at Bowie's house was wonderful. I've used Airbnb a fair amount and this has been one of the best stays. The house was clean, well stocked, and nicely appointed with decoration and furniture. The kitchen is well stocked to cook which I used a fair amount.
He's an easy host to work with and lives nearby in case I needed anything. Make sure to ask about his gym within walking distance of the house as well because you might get a deal on membership while you're in town.
The neighborhood is great with an awesome coffee shop about 40 steps out the door and plenty of funky characteristics abound. I was able to run about 5 minutes and get to the buffalo speedway public parks project which is a really nice newly re-developed parks project if you're wanting to get out and about as well.
All in all this is a thumbs up.
