Super Unterkunft! Sehr sauber, gute Lage - hat alles perfekt geklappt!
This past weekend, my friend and I rented Ben's apartment in Kreuzberg for a long weekend escape to Berlin. The apartment is within easy reach of the U-Bahn and S-Bahn trains, at the same station, a 6 minute walk straight up the street, meaning the city centre is within easy reach, as well as the airport. From the airport, a taxi will cost you €35, which is the same price as the shuttle service you can arrange with Monika.
The apartment is in a very lively area, very trendy and cool. There are lots of restaurants very close to the flat. We really enjoyed the ambiance of the neighbourhood and of the flat.
Getting the keys was so simple, no need to hassle Ben or Monika with arranging a meeting time, which worked out conveniently, as I missed my flight and arrived at midnight.
The flat was perfect for our stay. The king sized bed is large enough to share comfortably, which we both found very comfortable. There is also a futon handy, if needed. The flat was very well kept and very clean. Because of the way the flat is tucked away in a courtyard, it is very quiet as it is blocked from the noise of the street.
Monika was great to liaise with regarding arrival and checkout times. The instructions were so simple and spot on, there was no confusion about how to collect keys, even in the middle of the night.
I would gladly rent from Ben and Monika again. Thanks guys!
The apartment was great. There was sufficient equipment for cooking, it was clean. The neighborhood might not be welcoming at first sight, but it turns out to be okay.
The appartment was clean, beautiful and sunny. We had a great stay in kreuzberg
We did not meet Ben but he sent us all needed information via email. Finding the apartment was easy and there was no formal check-in so the process was smooth. The apartment by far was the most spacious and clean airbnb that I have stayed in. My boyfriend and I loved it. the pictures are very accurate and the place has very bright natural light during the day which was nice. The view from the windows was also very cool with the ivy-covered buildings. The tv worked and there were also dvd's there for us to watch which came in handy. The only negative thing to say was that the apartment is 4 floors up and it was a bit difficult to bring our luggage up the first day. The neighborhood is perfect. There is an abundance of places to eat and it's just a small walk to the east side galley (berlin wall murals.) We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Berlin.
The apartment was great, very clean, such a perfect location. We were very happy =)
Nice apartment in interesting area. Quiet house, we waked up every morning listening to the birds singing. Good restaurangs on the street just outside, especially the ice cream bar was a favorite. Easy to take the the u-bahn or s-bahn to get around. Or bus 257 directly to Checkpoint Charlie.
Ben was very helpful with information and fast and friendly communication.
