This lovely one bedroom apartment is conveniently located in the heart of Dublin's city centre cultural quarter Temple Bar. It is a quiet, peaceful haven overlooking a courtyard and surrounded by all Dublin has to offer!

The Space

This is a gorgeous apartment in the heart of Dublin city centre. Although it is located in the popular Temple Bar, it is in the quieter part of the area. Thus it has the benefit of being very centrally located, but also a peaceful retreat during your time in Ireland's capital city. It really has the best of both worlds!
It's a spacious one bedroom apartment, with one large bedroom with plenty of storage and a day bed that can be used as a single bed or extended to a double bed if required. Thus the apartment can sleep up to four people.
In addition to the bedroom, there's a bathroom with both bath and shower, as well as a kitchen / dining / living room, which contains the day bed.

Guest Access

In addition to the apartment itself, guests will have access to the courtyard, which is shared among the apartment complex residents.

Interaction with Guests

I look forward to meeting you on your arrival and showing you around the apartment and providing information on local sights and amenities. I'll be available by phone and email during the duration of your stay and hope to make your holiday in Dublin as enjoyable as possible.

The Neighborhood

The apartment is on a pedestrianised street, close to a main street (and thus convenient for a variety of public transport), and overlooks a private courtyard. Across the courtyard is a yoga studio and massage centre, handy if you fancy a yoga class or massage.
The immediate surrounding area comprises a number of small shops, museums, theatres, cafes and restaurants, as well as a market on Saturdays.

Getting around

Being in the city centre, the apartment is close to bus stops, the Luas (tram), and the city's two main train stations. Buses to and from the airport also pass close by, and much of the city centre is easily accessible by foot.

  • Helen was fantastic, since we moment we contacted her till after we left. She always answered promptly, was always very nice and helpful.
The flat was amazing, tucked in a cute little street in the heart of temple bar, close to everything and silent enough for a chilled out evening. The decoration was simple, elegant and colorful, absolutely loved it. I could not recommend a better host and/or a better flat for a very nice stay in Dublin!

  • This apartment is so well-located! It is easy to walk to many of Dublin's interesting attractions. We found Helen a very attentive and helpful host. She thought of everything and was very kind and flexible. She helped us a lot including with our luggage drop-off and pick-up and recommendations, map etc.

  • Helen is a great host. Very friendly and helpful, she has a really lovely apartment that is very clean and well appointed. It was a great central location to use as a base camp to explore all of Dublin.....walking distance to everything including the hop on hop off bus. Right next door to the Queen of Tarts for great coffee, baked goods, and lunches. The Temple Bar area is a hub of activity with a vibrant social scene and great pubs and restaurants.

  • Helen was a perfect host, agreeable to changes in my itinerary and very very pleasant, went out of her way to be helpful. I locked myself out she was there within minutes and not a problem, the unit was well appointed and very clean. The location description and value for money was first class. I visit Dublin for work and the unit was perfect, would be a perfect base for a tourist to which Helen caters for in her extensive to do and to see list in an extensive box of brochures and recommendations. Well stocked with provisions and little things like candles and linen all taken care of. A perfect place to stay where it feels like home and yet you have the support of a caring host. The flat is central to the major tourist sites, a short walk to the metro bus links and bus or train station or a stones throw from the action of temple bar (if that's your scene). The bus to the airport stop at the top of the lane, its convenient, warm and cosy which is important on wet cold Dublin nights, yet it also catches the sun on spring days, is airy and well lighted overlooking a pleasant courtyard. Perfect for the writer or poet to dream away the hours with the murmur of the city in the background, AND the temptation of a great bakery outside the front door and its alluring fragrances of fresh pastries. Or try a cuppa and cake at the Queen of Tarts in the other lane way. Like I said good accommodation centrally located.

  • The apartment is just as the pictures show. Very pretty and in an excellent position (all the sights are within walking distance). In Temple bar, but in a quiet corner, so that it is extremely silent. We were two people, but it can accomodate comfortably also three. There is a bakery on the ground floor and several food stores really close by. It has everything one needs. If we can make a suggestion we would add a couple of small coffee cups, so that Italian guests that cannot go without their espresso can drink one in the right cup. Helen was always very quick in answering any message and was a very kind host. We would strongly reccommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit Dublin feeling like a Dubliner

  • The apartment is absolutely identical to the photos, so there is no surprise in what you will walk into. The surprise for me was the gracious host, Helen. She went above and beyond to make sure mine and my friend Amy's stay was as close to perfect as possible. There were very last minute changes in my flight and Helen was so incredible in rearranging her schedule so that she could meet me at the flat so that I could leave my luggage there before officially checking in. The flats location could not be better! Close to everything! I bought a Leap card for public transit and almost never used it because we could walk everywhere. Helen also has a box of pamphlets from the tourist office which was great to sit down and sift though. It really helped Amy and I plan our perfect trip, and the location that the tour buses picks up and drops off is less than a 10 minute walk. While close to the hustle and bustle of Temple Bar, you are far enough away to avoid the noise that goes along with it. The building is safe and secure and I never worried about the safety of myself while there of my belongings while gone for the day. I have had such great experiences with hosts on AirBnB but Helen will be very hard to beat. I could not recommend Helen's flat more.

  • A wonderful place to stay in Dublin! The location in Temple Bar was fantastic. Being in the heart of Dublin means you are a quick walk or ride from most of the top destinations. The apt had everything we needed, was very quiet at night and Helen was kind enough to give us a bunch of useful tips for our stay. Will be back!

  • Helen's apartment was just adorable! Everything was perfect and she was so nice to explain everything and show us around before leaving. We had an excellent time and her place is located in such a great area, lots of nightlife and good places to eat everywhere. I would highly recommend staying here!

  • Helen was an amazing host! I just spent a month at Helen's flat and couldn't have been happier with anything different. Right from the first response from Helen I knew it was the place I was going to take. She responds quickly! The flat is located in such a prime location that I couldn't have found anything better! There is so much to do in the area with great cafes, shops, and pubs. It is ideal if you are taking tour busses, as most of the locations for pick up are a 5 minute walk. It is actually ideal for anything becuase you can reach all parts of city centre within a 5-10 min walk. The flat looks just like the pictures so there are no surprises when you get there. The area is a really safe area and never found any issuses. It is located in temple bar, but is located far enough away that you don't get all of the tourist traffic. I would highly recommend Helen and her apartment (I would still be there if I didn't have to leave)!
