The villa is a sober and elegant villa where modern and exotic architecture are mixed harmoniously.

It is located just minutes away from the beaches of Seminyak renowned for their beautiful sunsets but also the equally famous Oberoi Street with some of the most upscale shops, bars and restaurants in Bali.

You will enter the villa by the living room which opens onto the tropical garden and the pool. On your left is the long bar of the fully equipped kitchen.

The villa has 2 large bedrooms and a smaller one that can accommodate two adults. They are all air-conditioned and equipped with LCD TV. The two main bedrooms have ensuite bathroom, one of them even has a beautiful terrazzo bathtub lined by exotic plants and trees where you can relax while gazing at the sky.

The lush tropical garden surrounds the magnificent swimming pool where you can cool down and around which you can sunbathe comfortably installed in sunbeds provided for this purpose.

You will enjoy all the modern comfort (LCD TV, cable TV, Wi-Fi etc ...) and the tranquility of the place will allow you to revivify yourself in order to fully appreciate all the charms of Bali.

  • Stayed at the 4 bedroom Villa Tinn Tamm, Jl Drupardi, Seminyak for a week
with 3 other couples. After a hiccup at the airport ( no driver) we jumped
into taxis and decided to make our way there. In true. Balinese style the
drivers were so helpful. Ringing the villa owner to say we were nearby and
arranging to meet our housekeeper on the main road. She then escorted our
taxis to the villa. Phew. Made it !!! Putu (our housekeeper) couldn't have
been more accommodating. And what gem she turned out to be for the rest of
the week. We requested breakfast on a few mornings and she shopped and
cooked. Very unobtrusive, we didn't feel that our privacy was interrupted
at all. Security stay all night and are a real presence which gives you
peace of mind. The villas themselves are clean, neat and more than adequate
for 8 people. We never felt like we were in each other's way. The pool is a
good size and kept spotlessly clean. Location is also very good a short walk
to Jl Laksmana (Eat Street) and there are also quality restaurants on Jl
Drupardi as well. Walking distance to Double Six street and all of the
associated restaurants and shopping there. Most taxi rides around the
surrounds cost 10,000 Rp (less than $1) and taxi to Legian 50,000. (Less
than $5). Excellent laundry service right across the road called Rahayu.
Leave your washing in the morning and it's ready by 5pm that same day. Great
    service and cheap too.
Another hiccup on the way out. (No driver) Once again Putu came to the
rescue. Sorted taxis to the airport. Have to say for a 21 year old girl, I
am more than Impressed with the mature way she dealt with every situation.
I would highly recommend these villas to anyone travelling in group or
family without hesitation. Will definitely stay there again...

    Response from Gabriela:

    Dear Kerri,
Thank you for taking your time to share your recent experience with us.
We are glad to know that you had a great time in Bali and impressed with our staff, Putu.
Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience hiccup you experienced with the airport transfer due to an important Balinese ceremony at that time.
We look forward to welcoming you again in the near future for another memorable stay. Gabriela Maya

  • This villa is absolutely gorgeous. I've stayed in many villas in the area and this is one of the best for the price you pay.
It is very spacious and in a good location where it's easy to get taxis after a short walk down the long driveway. It's tucked away from the Main Street so it's quiet and peaceful.
There's also a small Circle K (mini convenience store) in walking distance which is always helpful!
I would definitely recommend staying here!

  • This place is a slice of heaven. Walking into the garden/pool area for the first time is magical. Pool water is perfect temp, pool area has lots of sun or shade under a beautiful shady tree. Pictures were slightly confusing online, as I thought the kitchen/pool table/dining was on a second story but it's actually to your left on ground level with the pool to the right. I actually liked this better as I could watch the kids play in the pool while I was in the dining area. I was worried about mosquitos at night while we were in the open air tv room upstairs, but it was never a problem. Beds were comfortable, air con worked great. Bathrooms are beautiful. One is open air with a statue that is actually the shower. Fun experience. I appreciated the staff for giving us our privacy. I've stayed in other villas where it was awkward having staff around too much. Komang the housekeeper is very sweet and friendly, and Maka who lives in a little space to the side of the villa is helpful and always there when you need him. He's also very stealth; turned off pool slide for us without us even seeing him. Loved that. We did have some communication problems as his English is average at best (didn't understand when I gave him a number of a taxi driver to call and cancel, and the driver showed up and waited for us for 2 hours). There was also no house phone and it was somewhat tricky communicating to Maka reservations/drivers needed. I feel guilty for even saying anything negative, because he's the sweetest man you'll ever meet. The place is a bit out from town so we did have to hire a driver everywhere, but it was totally worth it for the sheer beauty of this magnificent villa. Was very sad to leave and will definitely return! Also Benjamin was wonderful to work with and very quick with responses.

    Response from Gabriela:

    Hi Brooke,
I’m really glad you enjoyed your stay at the villa. However I’m sorry for the misunderstandings with Maka since we provide a cellular phone with credit for the villa’s guests in order for them to easily reach villa’s management. Thank you for your review, you’re welcome anytime!

  • Villa Medori is in a great location and great helpful staff. Perfect for a family with small children or baby since one room has crib. The living room is spacious and has great energy for relaxing and is on a quiet street.

  • We were two families with kids staying a week at this wonderful villa. It's well kept and well managed and overall very nice and of high standard. Four large bedroom was ideal for 8 persons. It's a 10 minute drive from Seminyak and for us it was perfect as we could decide how much city-life and how much quiet relaxation we wanted. We can only recommend this villa.

  • Overall enjoyed my 5-day stay in Villa Medori. Benjamin has arranged the airport transfer to and fro the airport as requested. It has made our arrival easy. However the villa is slightly older and smaller than what shown in the pictures. The pool is clean and facilities are adequate and working except hot water shower is only available at the two lower floor bathrooms. The upper bathroom is also smell uninviting. The maid, Nengah was splendid. While her service is limited to daytime, we can still reach at her at night via sms through a provided local handphone. Another pity is that the location of villa is quite remote. Even local drivers have problems finding. But if they can find nearby Villa Kubu, the rest of the way should be easy. A walk to supermarket is about 10mins and accessible to main roads Jalan Seminyak and Sunset Road. A nice stay nevertheless.

  • Villa Joglo was an amazing sanctuary to come home to. Aesthetically speaking, I loved the mix of modern and traditional. One of my favourite things to do was waking up on a hot day and literally rolling into the pool straight away. What better way to start the day. Benjamin the owner was an absolute gem, so friendly and helpful. The location was awesome as well. Umalas is definitely an up and coming area. with its trendy cafes and restaurants perched in the middle of lush green rice fields it's a neighbourhood that you'll find hard to leave. All in all, my experience at villa Joglo was everything I could ask for. I'll definitely go back next holiday.

  • We had a wonderful 5 night stay at the trendy villa. First, the villa is in a perfect location. It's located on a side street off the main restaurant and shopping road in Seminyak. Every type of restaurant is within walking distance. It's a 7 min walk from the villa to the main road. $5 cab ride to anywhere else in Seminyak or Kuta.

The bedrooms are very comfortable with large beds in each. There is also AC in each room. The kitchen and living room are open air, which is common to Bali. The pool was fantastic.

The house staff is a very nice woman who was willing to help us with anything we asked. She helped arrange a driver, chef, and even called a massage place to come to the house.

Everyone we encountered during our stay was very nice and helpful. Our driver, Bagus, was the best! He knew all the great places to take us around the island.

I would definitely stay at the Trendy Villa again when in Seminyak. It's the perfect place to stay for any big group traveling to Bali.

  • We had a pleasant stay at Benjamin's three-room villa. The villa photographs beautifully, and is in relatively good condition - clean pool and rooms, although it should be noted that not all the washrooms are en-suite, and the top floor bathroom does not have a water heater. The bathroom downstairs can be accessed from the back door from that leads to the pool - which can be a little exciting/unsettling at times, showering in the open while looking over the shoulder. The tap in the kitchen is a little rusty and wifi is spotty. We liked the peaceful neighbourhood very much - the villa is located a little further in from Jalan Raya Seminyak, so walking in was not an option at night, but sleeping in was. We had a bit of trouble finding the villa as it's not a commercial villa (not located on online maps). We also had somehow missed the driver at the airport, so Benjamin's assistant refunded the airport-to-villa cab fare to us. For the rest of the time, Benjamin left us in the lovely hands of his villa housekeeper, Nengah, who was contactable by the disposable mobile phone provided. Nengah was always helpful and turned up even when she was not feeling well to make sure the rooms were cleaned every day and our needs (be it cab-calling or activity recommendations) were met.

  • Villa is wonderfull. But wi-fi is VERY BAD!!! We twice asked the owner to fix it, but he did nothing! Be ready to be out of internet!

    January 2014
    Response from Gabriela:

We apologize for the issues you encountered with internet at the end of your stay. We were in constant contact with the provider who fixed the problem as quickly as possible. In order to avoid any future issue we installed in the villa a "rescue modem" with another provider to address the problems. For your information you must know that Indonesia is ranked second worst country in the world for its internet network; we work with the provider that has the best reputation in Bali, but as you have noticed by yourself, it didn't get us under cover of internet connection hiccups...
