This brand new (Dec 2013) apartment is in the new "RIVER" condominium by the Chaophraya river and opposite the famous Shangri-la Hotel. This is Bangkok's newest & premier riverside address - "The RIVER".
The apartment is situated in the giant south tower closer to the river, corner aspect with two large balconies, literally out of this world!
The master bedroom occupies the corner of the unit with simply unique views of the city and the Chaophraya, the other 2 bedrooms have a south facing aspect. There is also the large dining room with balcony area. We can arrange for 2 single beds to be placed here, so can double up as a 4th bedroom for short stays making it a 3-4 bedroom (sleeps 6+2) .
The apartment has a great large open space for living and a kitchen area for dining with access to 2 superb balconies - allowing you to relax and dine in the sky!
The condominium has a super convenient location directly across from BTS Saphan Taksin Skytrain station - the private ferry departs regularly from the building's private pier to Bangkok's main pier and the Skytrain.

Interaction with Guests
We will provide airport pickup which is included in the price, we will pop by later/next day when you have rested to check that everything is ok, answer any questions. There is a mobile in the apartment that you can call us on and we will make ourselves available if need be, to sort out any issues that might arise.
Please respect other people in the building and your neighbours, be courteous at all times, please do not make excessive noise/music/parties especially in unsociable hours. Loud music and parties are not acceptable as we ask guests to respect the neighbours as if they were your own.

I think we have the perfect location in Bangkok - by the river, with the Skytrain (for the more modern part of Bangkok) and the river boats (for generally the more historic parts of the city) on our doorstep. We are located across the river from Saphan Taksin Skytrain, to cross the river you can walk or use the buildings own ferry boat.
The centre of Bangkok is debatable. If Lumpini park is the centre then we are 3 stops by Skytrain - less than 10 minutes, if Siam (this is the Skytrain central station) is the centre then we are 5 stops away and less than 15 minutes.
The Grand Palace is about 15-20 mins up the river by boat and Koh San road is about 30 mins up the river from the main pier.
Taxi's are very cheap and I often use them more at night when there is less traffic.
Being by the river provides a soothing and cooling influence to the environment and we have great views. We neighbour with many of the best 5 star hotels in Bangkok, for me living by the river or by a park in most major cities is the most desirable place to live.
Welcome to our self catering apartments at “The River” condominium. We hope you enjoy staying and take pleasure from the location, the view and the amenities.
Your apartment is 5301 and is called “Rhine” it is on the 53rd floor in the big main tower “A” or South tower.
Please do not use the intercom system or go to the Juristic office on the ground floor or to the building’s staff as they are not connected with TheRiverSideBangkok, we will liaise with the building management team if required.
In a building like this, security it taken seriously and access is limited. You should have a Blue “River” key card which is used to get into the building, to operate the lifts and is required when using the ferry boat. There is also the front door key to the apartment and finally the blue key card is also to switch on the electricity in the apartment and needs to be placed in the receptacle by the front door.
The “River” key card gives you access to the 53rd floor, the 1st floor/ground floor, the 5th floor and the Sky terrace with swimming pool and gym on the 40th floor.
To use the lifts: Go into the lifts, scan the “River” key card at the control receptacle and it should beep at you. You then press the desired floor number – 5 then 3 for the 53rd floor, then the star button – that’s it you should be heading up!
The procedure is similar for going down to the 40th, 5th or 1st floor – Remember you will need your card to operate the lifts – don’t leave the apartment without it!
The White RIVER key card is also required for the air-con and lighting to work please insert it into the white receptacle and remember to take it out when you leave the apartment. You will have 2 sets of keycards, please do not leave a keycard in the receptacle when you go out in respect for the environment and cost.
There are 6 remote air-con controls one for each room, the sensors are in the ceilings, please keep the doors to each room closed when possible.

The building is non-smoking, all apartments are strictly non-smoking, best to smoke in the Vue shopping mall at the front of the building.
We loved the details in staying at this condo. The pre-arranged airport pickup, the food and drinks in the fridge when we came in, the cell phone available for use, and the free river ferry all contributed to an amazing experience. The condo is a gorgeous, clean, peaceful oasis in the heart of the very busy, bustling Bangkok and the juxtaposition of the two was really fun. Definitely check out the pool area- there are many private, secluded pools in addition to a bigger infinity pool by the river and we loved relaxing there.
We were picked up at the airport by a very friendly driver who transferred us safely to The River.
The place was fantastic. The views from the balconies are probably the best in the city. John was very helpful, a great place to stay highly recommended!!
The stay was awesome. The room is really tidy, well equipped. The view is also amazing. We could access to the River Cond easily because of its location, their transportation service from the airport and the doc of direction to the River in Thai. I highly recommend their team.
