How to get there
There are two easy ways to get to the house from the Fiumicino Airport:
1) you can take the train to Rome and get off at Termini station. From there you can take metro, line A, or the bus M4 until Ponte Lungo, then just 10 minutes walk down Circonvallazione Appia street and you are arrived. From Termini you can also take the bus N.360 and get off at Piazza Zama (bus terminal) that is just 2 minutes from the apartment.
2) From the same train as above get off at Tuscolana station then take on the left towards Ponte Lungo metro and then take Circonvallazione Appia.
From the Ciampino Airport there are two bus lines that go directly to Termini station: Terravision (€ 4) and SIT Bus Shuttle (€ 4) . If you choose Terravision remember to buy the ticket before getting on board, for SIT Bus Shuttle you can buy the ticket on board. From Termini you can follow the instructions reported above for those who land in Fiumicino.
You can get to the Circo Massimo, Fori Imperiali and other great roman locations in a 30 minutes walk. If you don't want to walk much there is a metro station (Ponte Lungo) at 10 minutes and a bus terminal just round the (email hidden)ere is the biggest urban roman park with monuments that goes along the old roman street Appia. Just outside you can find everything you may need during your stay: supermarket, bank, bar, pharmacy, restaurants.

See you in Rome!
There is a subway, Metro A, at 10 minutes walk from the apartment. The closest station is Ponte Lungo. There is also a bus, number 628 that stops very close to the apartment and goes to the city centre from Circo Massimo and Piazza Venezia up to Vatican City. Another bus, number 360, goes to Termini railways station.
We kindly request our guest to not smoke in the room, bathroom and in all the apartment.
Luigi and his sister are very kind and friendly. They helped us alot and provided us everything we need. The room is large enough for our family (a couple with a baby).
The location is convenient to take the bus to the center, coloseum, Vatican and termini station. We would definitely stay in this house when we came back Rome.
Bon accueil et beaucoup d'infos pour accéder à l'appartement et le centre ville.
Room was clean and tidy. No breakfast was provided. Close to Colloseum and subway (20 minutes walking).
An intersting experience! My girlfriend and I didn't see or speak to the advertised host Luigi once. I don't even think he lives there. Instead the host was I think his sister. She was very nice and welcoming but couldn't speak a word of English. I stayed in this apartment for 8 days and communication was basically impossible. I can't speak or understand Italian and luigis sister who hosted can't speak or understand English. This found to be extremely inconvenient and frustrating. The apartment is accurate to the photos and the neighborhood seemed safe and nice. It is hard to commute to the city centre. I have travelled to about 20 countries over 4 continents and the public transport in Rome was the worst I have ever experienced; quite often waiting over 30 minutes for a bus. I reccomend this apartment ONLY TO PEOPLE WHO SPEAK ITALIAN.
Our host was so lovely, used google translate a bit to have a conversation between Italian and English which I was fine with. She even drive us around and dropped us off at the colosseum our first morning there. Local neighbourhood away from tourists, nice places to eat.
Laura is so nice. She can not speak English, but she try to help me as can as possible.
I am a software developer working around Italy and Europe. I like traveling, skiing, mountaineering, diving and mountain biking. I speak Italian, English and some Portuguese and French.
