About This Listing
A lovely one-bedroom apartment with character for rent. Conveniently located off a busy road. Excellent tram, train and airport connections. 15 min walk to downtown Brussels. Fully furnished and has everything to make you feel at home in Brussels!
This spacious one-bedroom apartment full of old world charm will be yours to enjoy and explore the real Brussels. It is very bright and airy, with high ceilings, French doors and crown moulding adding to its unique charm. It is fully furnished, with modern kitchen and a jacuzzi-style tub for you to relax after a long day of exploring the city.
In addition to all modern amenities (wifi, washing machine, TV, DVD-player), the guests are welcome to browse my book collection.
Interaction with Guests
I only rent the flat when on the move myself, so the guests will enjoy full privacy and calm.
The apartment is located in the middle of a lively neighbourhood with all its hustle&bustle. Yet, the street itself is very quiet, with almost no traffic.
There are plenty of shopping opportunities, and you can enjoy the best oriental hammam in the area, which is 1 minute walk from the house.
The area is very well linked with public transport. It's 10 minute walk (or two stops by tram) from the North Station (where yo can hop on the train to Ghent, Bruges, Antwerp or Brussels airport) and Rogier area (which is already the beginning of Brussels downtown). Tram 93 will take you to the tourist centre in no time.
The guests are asked to respect the recycling rules (sort the garbage) and be environmentally conscious. Basic civility and common sense rules apply :)
Jana's place was great! The bedroom is huge, the bathroom (especially the shower !) is amazing, and the kitchen well equiped. There is also loads of DVD's if you wanna stay at home! We stayed there only for two nights but we could have stayed for a while! It's very close to Place Liedts, where you can catch a tram to the city center. Otherwise, it's about 30 minutes walk from Grand Place. We had a problem with the boiler, but we managed to fix it with Jana on the phone. She is really nice and available, and left us the instructions before we got there. Merci!!
Jana's place was great! I felt sad packing up because it started to feel like home! It was perfect for what I needed. It's about a 30 minute walk from Grand Place along an easy main route and there are lots of Turkish eateries nearby. The place is cozy and has a pleasant incense scent when first entering. Jana is super responsive on email and left detailed instructions about the place and neighborhood. If arriving at night, note that the most direct walking route from the north train station passes by the red light district, so be prepared for what comes with that directly next to the station. The apartment's neighborhood felt fine though.
Merci
I loved staying at Jana's place. It is a very nice apartment in - what I would call - a typical Brussels house. The apartment is situated in a quiet street, but very close to the lively 'Place Liedts' and Gare du Nord. The apartment is great, especially the huge bedroom and the well equiped kitchen, I also liked her huge collection of DVD's and books. All in all, a wonderful place to stay, I recommand it to everybody, and hope to stay there myself again next time I am in Brussels!
logement agréable, très bien meublé, tout confort. Rien ne manque.
Le quartier est quelconque.
The apartment of Jana is Lovely and super comfortable!! I spend wonderful time of rest there. She is very helpful and nice.
Definitely i will be there again.
