Johan's place is charming, warm and comfortable. It is the perfect stay in Amsterdam. Close enough to town to walk (or a tram super close by if you prefer), yet far enough away to feel like you're living like a local. The top floor room is huge and the bed comfortable. We could not ask for anything more - would stay here again in a heart beat.

This is one of my favorite places I've ever stayed. I expected it to be much smaller from the photos, but it was the size of two rooms with very high ceilings. It was beautifully decorated with a chandelier, bookcase, and lovely sitting area with a large window that made it feel like a patio. It was directly next door to a non-touristy bike rental, was close to everything, and was in a charming area near a small park. Everything about our stay was perfect - Johan was in touch a few weeks in advance and his assistant who checked us in was also very helpful and welcoming. I would go back to Amsterdam just to stay in this place again!

Johan kept in great communication and was very easy to work with. Our flight came in early in the morning and Johan let us drop off our bags while he waited for the previous guests to finish their stay. It was such a beautiful room and had absolutely everything we needed! It was so close to the tram stop that we had an easy time getting around the city. I would definitely stay here again!

Great apartment, gorgeous furnishings a real gem in a beautiful traditional town house. We are comfortable walking long distance and walked everywhere around the city. Great location! Johan was away the weekend we visited but Erika was also fantastic. Fab communication very rapid and helpful with directions and recommendation! We were able to leave our luggage ideal for the early arrival and late departure. Lovely touches of fruit and drinks left for us to enjoy! Would hugely recommend!
