Johan's apartment had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend in Amsterdam. It was spacious and comfortable, located in a great neighborhood, and even had two beers welcoming us for the weekend!
We arrived early to leve our suitcases and was met by Johan, who explained all about the flat, access etc. When we returned later, Johan took us to the upstairs flat and again explained all the practicalities.
The flat itself is a little gem. It is a former artist studion in the eves of a small town house with large windows, part open to the rafters and beautifully decorated. Perfect place to stay for an architect and a artist (painter). It had the most comfortable bed with crisp white linen and fresh flowers in the room, for those of you who appreciates.
The flat is located very conveniently at the southern end of the Nine Streets (inner grachts) on a tree lined street near a square.
Johan provides excellent information about the area, local restaurants, cafes, etc. and the flat has a large bookshelf filled with books on all subjects for you to indulge in.
We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again in August..
Remember to book early.
See you soon.
We had an awesome time at Johan's place. We were really impressed with the condition, neighborhood and character of the apartment.
Because Johan was not in town, his assistant Erica let us inside. She is a very welcoming and nice person who helped us feel very comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay in Johan's beautiful apartment. He was actually away whilst we were in Amsterdam but his assistant Erica was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is in a great, central location and is full of character and charm. Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone spending a few days in the Dutch capital.
Wonderful apartment, great location, very friendly and helpful host. Thanks, Johan, we really enjoyed our stay!
