Sunanda and Pam definitely is a super host and the house is more than the pictures. It likes a sanctuary! We get all we need in the house: refrigerator, micro wave Owen, a HD TV and dishes, towels and everything. The swimming pool is amazing. We got enough space and piracy even though we share a house. In fact it seems we got an individual house!
Sunanda and Pam were wonderful hosts! The guest house was private, clean, and SO comfortable. There were baskets of nice snacks and bath essentials in the room, along with a binder full of information on the neighborhood and surrounding area. Sunanda was so attentive that she brought cold milk by, and later gave us pool towels to enjoy the salt water pool in the peaceful courtyard. We spent a lot of time resting in our private space, and took Saturday to enjoy the many activities that the Kashi community offers. Walking the grounds was beautiful, and learning of the history and meeting community members was very enjoyable. We even enjoyed what was the BEST yoga class I've attended to date, taught by Pam. Sebastian was a beautiful, relaxing getaway, and staying with Sunanda and Pam was more inclusive and personal than any hotel. We really look forward to visiting again and getting to know them better! We're already ready for another vacation :)
Both Sunanda and Pam made me feel very welcome. Loved the coffee and french press! Very comfortable room with pool that was private and wonderful to relax in. Nice basket of snacks, and water available. Very secluded cul-de-sac near the river with 2 boardwalks close by to walk to and watch the birds flying overhead. Two major grocery stores right down the street and many restaurants nearby. The host offered conversation when she was outside and saw me, and privacy when I was just wanted to sit on a raft and blissfully float in the pool. I stayed 5 nights and it was great!
Sunanda and Pam create a space of serenity, abundance draped in kindness. The thoughtful provision of snacks, toiletries, and built in comforts make for a relaxing and memorable stay. I've had many remarkable airbnb experiences to date and cherish each opportunity to make friends of my hosts and guests but I've never felt so completely at home in any of my prior stays that truly compares to this blissful space and the hosts who I am hopeful to now call friends.
I highly recommend this corner of paradise to anyone looking to emerge from a hiatus feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Fabulous space paralleled by some of the kindest folks on the planet as hosts. Thank you kindly for your generosity. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have met you.
Shangrila! Peaceful and lovely- with touristy stuff and the ocean nearby! Sunanda and Pam provided everything we needed; they were the consummate hosts :-)
Our stay in this guest cottage was a pure delight! Sunanda & Pam were very friendly & helpful. A spacious room w/high ceiling, comfortable bed, snacks, dishes, coffee/tea set-up, brkfst items, and a lovely pool surrounded by tropical plants were all such a sweet surprise.
We thoroughly enjoyed taking a yoga class ($6!!) & walking the 80 acre grounds of the Ashram. A peaceful, lovely stay. I would highly recommend to anyone.
We loved our little secluded room - Graciously supplied with all essentials and more. In two years of using AirBnB in Eurpoe and North America/Canada, this is by far the best.
Great value - highly recommended.
About the Host, Sunanda
My wife, Pam, and I are good hosts, who enjoy people, and our home is a wonderful place for those looking for a quiet and peaceful space. We will both be here for you if you should need help or advice, but our style of hosting is very non-intrusive. We know you are here to enjoy your own space and peace, and we don't intrude into that.
We enjoy good coffee, fresh food and plenty of sunshine. We are interested in yoga and meditation, and appreciate living on Kashi Ashram, which is a world that accepts everyone from all walks of life, and of all beliefs. This is especially an LGBTQ-friendly area.
We are both self-employed. I sell Organic Coffee from home and at local Markets, as well as working part-time in the Yoga Studio here. Pam runs her own pet-sitting business and teaches Yoga.
I am originally from England, though I have traveled extensively during my life. After living in the USA for over 20 years, and Florida for 6 years, I know that I have found my home. Pam and I both look forward to welcoming YOU to enjoy a taste of our Paradise on Earth!
