We crossed this summit in '99. Its magnificence & energy kept our family hooked. Now, two decades later, we open this one-of-a-kind experience—the Jägerhaus—to the world.

Views run deep over hundreds of acres of the Black Hills under big skies. We invite you to explore. The hot tub shares these views, and we keep the water crystal clear. Gather around a bonfire, the gas fire pit, or the fireplace. The kitchen is truly "stocked."

We don't skimp; we don't cut corners.

The space
Private estate in Black Hills National Forest.

The house is a 3200 square foot build featuring fully furnished and decorated living spaces, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, laundry room and an oversized two-stall garage.

The space also features an outdoor hot tub, a two-level deck and patio furnished with outdoor patio furniture, and a gas fire pit. There is also a large bon fire pit on the property.

Our goal was to make our guests feel at home, and we've responded to past guests' feedback with action.

Guest access
You have access to the entirety of the house and property! You may hike but please don't ride any type of motorized vehicle into the forest on our land. Inviting open concept main floor with fireplace. Additional living space with big screen TV comfortable reclining chairs to enjoy your favorite movies or search Dish Network for your favorite shows. A total of 3 televisions throughout the home. But our guests have told us that the TVs are sparsely used due to the amazing nature surrounding the home.
