Beautiful apartment in the most amazing area of Rome. We loved sitting on the windowsill eating gelato looking out over the rooftops of Rome. Thank you for such a special weekend in Rome!
Street was very nice. Central location yet very local and relaxed feel.
Place was clean and made us feel like we were living there.
It was bit hard to walk upstairs and down with heavy suitcases but it was worth it!!!
Wanna come back for longer stay.
Good central location for seeing Rome. Lots of stairs, but since it's on top of the building it is bright and quiet. A/C was great and much needed in June. Lower level couch is a bit shabby and not a pull out but a trundle, worked fine for kids. Upstairs bed was comfy. Bathroom worked well, but had a noticeable sewer gas smell. Overall, fine for a short stay -- but not 'completely renovated' (at least in recent history) as advertised.
We had a lovely time in Rome and really enjoyed staying in Francesco's apartment. His son greeted us on arrival and showed us around the flat and gave us recommendations and showed us where local supermarkets and amenities were. The flat was exactly as described on the top floor in a beautiful old building and was in a fantastic location just minutes from Piazza Navona and lots of lovely bars and restaurants nearby. All major attractions were close by and we barely used any public transportation as we were able to walk everywhere!
Appartement très bien situé(nous avons tout visité à pieds), propre, la vue et magnifique et Francesco a été disponible et accueillant .
Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette belle ville de Rome .
We stayed at the Coronari Apartment for almost a week mid December. The flat is perfectly located and ideal for walks and rides to any Rome attraction. Francesco was very helpful, responsive and all went smoothly. We got the key on time and were explained our way around very kindly. I can only but recommend the host and the flat.
On the downside, the flat is "really" located on the 4th floor of a beautiful old roman house. If you have luggage and are not extremely fit I would not recommend the exercise. The cooking tools and plates are quite old and not really practical. One main issue to beware of is the fact that since the building is ancient the pipes are not fit and you may end up having to pay extra on plumber or even a handy man since the locks and doors need some upgrading (my daughter got locked in the bathroom for 2 hours - which was rather embarrassing since it was either braking the lock or ...). One last thing the bed downstairs is hard and not really designed for long stay.
A great place and a great host!! Francesco's son received us the day of the check in, he show us the apartment, explain us everything, give us tips about the city... all we needed!. The flat was very clean, is very confortable, and nicer than the photos. Without doubts, i would come back there in a future trip to Rome. The location is perfect, the street, the neighborhood, everything is perfect. Thanks Francesco for everything!!

About the Host, Francesco
I studied in Rome and left after my Pdh. I then came back home after having lived almost 10 years between LA, Paris, Geneva (Switzerland). I bought the apartments i am now renting and lived there for almost 15 years. then i got married and moved to another location since my wive suffers from asthma and she cannot do stairs.
