Set in a beautiful piece of land, once occupied by The Meeting School and currently occupied by South of Monadnock Community, a forming intentional community, the yurt is a rustic, peaceful and unique home for families looking to spend quiet time in the beautiful Monadnock Region.

The space
The yurt is a Bill Copperthwaite design built in 1974 to serve a faculty housing for the school. It is about 35' in diameter with a small inner yurt serving as the upstairs bedroom. Additionally, there is a pull out futon and sleeping spaces for small people in the "nook." There is wood heat with a gas backup, a full kitchen, bathroom with laundry and solar electricity.

Guest access
There are woods for non motorized recreation, a plethora of animals on the property, and we have a CSA vegetable farm, Sun Moon Farm, across the street run by community members.
