About this listing
An Australian beach house holiday at its best, the house is nestled in the unspoiled beauty of the New South Wales south coast.
This is an easy, comfortable four bedroom house, nestled on the river among the gum trees with a full kitchen and washing facilities, an outside BBQ and conveniences like a TV and DVD player.
We provide bed linen but you will need to bring your own towels, as previous guests have acquired them.
Stroll through the trees to the calm lagoon of Candlagan Creek and the gentle surf of Broulee's main beachfront. The patrolled sands of South Broulee are just a few minutes by car as well as the secluded snorkelling.
Away from the sun and sand you can also explore the delights of the Eurobodalla nature coast , from the Clyde River oysters and waterfront restaurants of Bateman's Bay, just 20 minutes north, to the craft stores of Mogo and Moruya, cheese making at Bodalla and the natural beauty of Tuross Heads and Montague Island. .
Please be aware that there is a strict limit of no more than 8 people staying in the house. Sadly, we have had some bad experiences with larger groups. This is a loved family getaway and we hope our guests will treat it that way. We are happy to discuss issues such as check-in and check-out, which wwe will accommodate if we can.
Cancel up to 7 days before your trip and get a 50% refund plus service fees back.

I am a journalist and author, raised in Australia but living in London. I grew up on the surfing beaches of south-west Western Australia and spent almost 20 years living in Sydney before moving to the UK eight years ago.
My wife, Paola, and I are both journalists for a metropolitan daily newspaper. I have also written and published 10 non-fiction books. My wife, Paola, and I live upstairs. Paola is a freelance journalist working for major Australian and UK newspapers, radio and television. Even though the apartment has a separate entry, it is part of our home which is a lovely Georgian terrace dating back to around 1800.
We love travelling ourselves and have a sense of what our guests need - a combination of comfort and information but also the space to explore one of the world's great cities. As your hosts, we are happy to help.
