Stephanie was an extremely welcoming host and made us feel right at home! The space was exactly what we expected. On top of a beautiful, exquisitely decorated home, she provided us with spot-on recommendations for brunch, lunch, dinner, and drinks. The apartment is in the perfect location for exploring the Wicker Park/Ukrainian Village neighborhoods.
I had a fantastic (albeit hectic!) three days sightseeing in Chicago. Stephanie is a really lovely host and her place is fabulous. Great if you don't want to stay downtown. It's a pretty cool area, a lot of great food close by, quirky shops and eastern european delis. I stayed in the small room which was perfect for me. It has super cozy bed. Stephanie is really welcoming and made me feel quite at home, and organising arrival times etc. was a breeze. I'd definitely stay with her again.
Stephanie was a wonderful host. Her home is beautiful and located in a super trendy area. My room was nice and cozy on a cold Chicago day. I would definitely stay here again.
Stephanie was very welcoming and friendly. Her house was in a great location for us, close to Bucktown. It was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
Stephanie was very friendly and welcoming. Her place is large & roomy in a vintage (built 1885 I think) building. I was only there at night due to my work schedule, however, it was very comfortable. Buckley is her big, friendly dog and once he sniffed me (and I gave him the milk bone Stephanie gave me for introductions), we were friends. Location is great and the room was quiet.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Stephanie's urban oasis for two nights.
The room itself is pretty small, but it is cozy and clean. The bed is comfortable, the sheets are soft.
The room is also private, as it is part of its own entrance and away and the common living quarters are separated.
You can hear a lot of sounds from the living quarters, but it wasn't a big deal.
Buckley is a very cute dog, however he is a little intimidating intends to jump in a bit. I believe it's because he's happy to see you more so than it is with any intention to intimidate. You have to be someone who is very comfortable with large dogs to stay here. Buckley is larger then he appears in the photo. But he is sweet.
All in all it was a good stay.

creative Chicago native with an amazing space to share. been hosting via Airbnb for well over 3 yrs now and absolutely love it. an avid traveler myself, i very much enjoy meeting new people and helping guests get the most out of their time here as I have been in my own travels.
On a hiatus from interior design consulting,.. I am an artist and a quiet extrovert.
This space is a very special home with a serene and peaceful quality about it that happens to be in the center of the Wicker Park/Ukrainian village happenings. I love it here and thus far, most everyone who has stayed does as well!!
