Tide View is a great, clean, bright, beautifil house! Douglas provided excellent instructions, and all was exactly as described. We hope to return sometime very soon!
Amazing view! Douglas is a very organized and helpful host--our visit was extremely well-orchestrated, and we would definitely stay again.
After an amazing hike up Mt. Tam and a breathtaking drive up the coast to Inverness, the Tide View on Tamales Bay was the ultimate "cherry on top". What a gorgeous vacation home, with a BEAUTIFUL view of Tomales Bay!!! The photos on the site are very accurate and yet it is even better in person! This is a VERY comfortable house, with a homey feel and all the amenities that made us feel right at home immediately. We walked in to find a bottle of wine and glasses to greet us--what a nice, and unexpected touch. One evening, we entertained friends for a quiet dinner. The kitchen was so well-equipped, it was a breeze to work in it. We had an all-around great time in the home and in the surrounding beauty of Point Reyes. We definitely will be returning, hopefully for a longer stay. Thank you so much Martin Family!
Douglas was a great host and communicator. We completely enjoyed our stay at Tide View. The house is very well designed and comfortable. I would highly recommend it.
Douglas' home is perfect for a weekend of rest and relaxation. We stayed here before we went bio-luminescence kayaking in Marshall (which I highly recommend). It has panoramic views over Tomales Bay, and numerous outdoor patios for lounging and eating. It was one of the most peaceful sleeps I have had in a while, and I got to wake up to the sound of birds chirping. Douglas was super communicative and sent me everything I needed to know about his place. The house is also close to some delicious restaurants and delis, and Point Reyes Station is a short drive away. Highly recommended!
We had a great stay at Douglas' home on Tomales Bay. The house was the perfect place to unwind for a couple of days and a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding nature. All of the rooms and bathrooms were very comfortable. The view from the deck was A+! Douglas was also very accommodating and responsive in helping us plan the smaller details of our trip. I highly recommend staying here!
We stayed at the property last year and found it to be very comfortable for our family. It is spacious, well laid out and a perfect location for exploring the area. Douglas was prompt in responding to our inquiries and worked with us to accommodate our schedule.
