Fantastic communication, and a great place to stay. The house is particularly well-suited to kids and large groups. We were three adults and three children, and didn't even use the separate entrance and living space downstairs.
Seven of us, age 64 to two months, spent three lovely nights in this lovely house. Lots of space, pretty child friendly and safe, easy kitchen, and, of course, beautiful views. A place of great refreshment. Thanks!
The entire experience of this AirBnb rental was pleasant from beginning to end. Douglas was extremely accommodating and communicative from the beginning. The property is very modern and accommodated our group of six adults. I would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay at Tomales Bay. The house was very clean and had an open layout. It was a close drive to downtown and Point Reyes trails. Douglas was very accommodating and even provided a travel crib and high chair, and some toys for the kids on rainy days. We will return I'm sure.
We stayed at the Tide View for a family getaway (6 adults, 2 small kids) and had a wonderful time despite continuous rain which prevented us from enjoying the outdoors. The house is very nice, comfortable, well equipped and has beautiful views so at least we could see the nature around us. It was kid friendly -- we did not need to bring a pack and play or a high chair, there were games and toys, and the space was conducive to adults socializing and kids playing without feeling too crowded or having to split up our party, which was a huge plus for us. The house is very close to Inverness restaurants and grocery stores and just a short drive from Point Reyes, so it's convenient for going out or getting good take out. Douglas was helpful and responsive, and helped us with some of the kid-related logistics. Overall, great experience and would definitely recommend, whether you have kids or not.
Douglas was very responsive, and we found the place clean, breezy, and well-lit. We prefer simple, clean accommodations, and this place was wonderful that way. Only down-side for us was that there were no trails or beaches immediately accessible, since we had young kids in tow. But there were lots within a short driving distance (and within walking distance for others without little ones). Really close to Inverness town strip, which was lovely.
Beautiful view. New home with nice kitchen, bedding, comfortable beds. Douglas very professional.
The hosts were very attentive, responsive, and a pleasure to engage with! Their place was fresh, clean, and so beautiful! Made for a perfect launching pad to explore Point Reyes!
We had a fantastic time at the Tide View in Inverness! The house was absolutely beautiful and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The communal spaces in the house are open and spacious - the private bedrooms are cozy and comfortable. We like the fact that there was a separate downstairs flat for our teenagers to enjoy.
All new appliances and fixtures were especially nice. The views from the deck and living room were exceptional - very quiet and peaceful surroundings. It's also very close to beaches and trails - and just 10 minutes from Drakes Oyster Farm (yum).
All in all we had a great time and look forward to returning soon!
