There are great cheap local places to eat in town including the Famous "Ferg" Burger for $11 which is a must do

Fish was a kind and accommodating host, his house is beautiful, and the views are just as fantastic as they look in the pictures. Would love to return if I ever find myself on this side of the world again. Thank you!
Awesome view. Close to town. Clean. Gave tips on parking around town and things to see.Has well behaved dog. Nice we were able to put few things in fridge. Thanks "Fish".
Unbeatable views from the house and hot tub. A peaceful haven a short way out of town with a an easy going host and a lovely atmosphere.
Right from the get-go Philip (aka "Fish") was a great guy. He is a nice, pleasant and genuine person. His space was so much more than I expected. The views from his deck were spectacular; really it has to be seen to understand. Room, bathroom and shared space were very clean. With the great accommodations came a wealth of information about the area, and a zeal to show me what Queenstown had to offer. Philip is easily the best host of all my Airbnb trips and made coming back to Queenstown a priority in the future. My only regret is that I could not stay longer!
Thank Fish for being such a good host. We enjoyed our stay and thanks a lot for all the good hints regarding the best spots to see.
The weather was fantastic and the restaurant Vknow was awesome.
See you hopefully next time on our next NZ trip.
We had a wonderful stay in Queenstown. Philip is a really good guy. He was very helpful with good recommendations and a very nice and relaxed host.
The house and room are clean and you will find everything a traveller needs. The views from the room and the porch are unbeatable and breathtaking. Definitly worth to stay with Philip when you are in Queenstown.
Loveley place, Grate bed, Nice and clean. Excelent host, Highly recomended. Thanks Fish, Regards to Cooga
Thanks so much for having us Fish! A great stay in Queenstown.. A beautiful property and room, the view was incredible! Fish is a great host, really helpful, very easy going and great to chat with... And we got to try his venison sausages on the BBQ! Highly recommended.
Amazing view, host, and hospitality! We were warmly greeted on Christmas Day in this cozy home that overlooks the city. If only we had arrived one day earlier we could have joined in the Christmas Eve feast that Fish and the other 6 guests had prepared the night before! Regardless, we enjoyed coming back 'home' after a long day of exploring to chat with everyone and enjoy wine, stars, and the hot tub! The place is very clean, nice bathroom, fresh towels, cereal, toast and coffee for breakfast and Fish even offered us his homemade Duck soup! He has all the maps, brochures and knowledge you need to help plan your days too! You can walk an off-road path from his place right to town in about 20 min or a 5 min drive! The view is worth not being in the center if town! We will be back!!!
