Three golden Rules
1. Pension Berlin is my baby, please handle it with care!
2. You are not alone! If you come back late or get up early, please try to be quiet.
3. Our good old friend Immanuel Kant and his categorical imperative.
Staying at Frank's has completed the coolest trip in Berlin. The atmosphere is totally unique and he welcomed us very warmly. I wish to come back again and will recommend this place to my friends.
As will all the other reviews, I was not disappointed. Frank was awesome, easy to talk to and communication worked flawlessly from our inquiry till the day we checked out.
Do yourself a favour, and stay at his place in "hip" Kreuzberg , plenty of restaurants, cafe's, bars and you will experience proper Berlin with the locals instead of staying in the centre of town with thousands of tourists! We hired bicycles nearby for 8 euro's a day and cycled the whole area and the neighbouring area called Neuköln, which is another "hip" area full of cafe's and bars..
Frank welcomed us even though our train ride was delayed. Very friendly, cosy place as described
Frank made us feel like his own guests which is very welcome when you arrive in a big city. The accommodation was exactly what we had been looking for in a city awash with big hotels, somewhere quirky and creative. It was only a few minutes from cafés, bars and a little further to the canal. A great base for us to explore this fast changing city and we both agreed Kreuzberg was the most interesting and real area of Berlin to stay in.
The room is beautiful and Frank is very welcoming. He even invited us to his art gallery opening! Location is quite convenient - U-Bahn station literally right around the corner, and lots of good restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend staying here!

About the Host, Frank
A long time ago...I moved to the city, that I love, Berlin, and finally, with a lots of love, passion and help from my friends, I created the "Pension Berlin", known as the city´s smallest "hotel".
Be my guest and feel like beeing part of the art and this beautiful city. The "Pension Berlin" offers you, besides lots of artworks, the smallest and the one and only Rainer Werner Fassbinder Memorial Shrine.
Willkommen, bienvenue, wecome!
