''Fassbinder Alexanderplatz'' - our double room!
A wall collage of countless stills from the movie. Innerspring double bed (1,60 x 2,00 m), two vintage armchairs, a chest of drawers, a wardrobe and an electric fireplace.Located in Kreuzberg's Graefe Kiez, a vibrant neighborhood of shops, bars and cafes, "Pension Berlin" offers not only two exceptional guest rooms but also exhibitions and films.
In the reception area the exhibitions constantly change, featuring paintings, drawings, screenings and objects from Berlin artists. On the reception floor is a mosaic of thousands of old coins from around the world.

Ich habe im Vorfeld viel erwartet -aber es wurde besser!
Frank ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber und er hat mit seiner Pension ein Unikat geschaffen. Das Flophouse ist was Besonderes. Frank hat mit einfachen Mitteln eine sehr angenehme und anregende Atmosphäre geschaffen.
Organisatorisch hat alles äußerst zuverlässig funktioniert und die Sauberkeit konnte nicht besser sein. Die Lage der Pension ist ein Traum, vorallem für so ein Landei wie mich.

Frank ist ein super symatischer gastgeber! wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! das zimmer und bad war sehr sauber! wir konnten unseren aufenthalt in berlin sehr geniessen!

Merci encore pour la chaleur de ton accueil et la chambre très hospitalière à la super déco que tu nous as mis à disposition.
La situation de la pension dans Kreuzberg est super, le quartier très sympa, beaucoup de bar, café restos à proximité.
Merci aussi pour les conseils de visites, super expo David Bowie au Gropius, et bon musée du Bauhaus et la parade LGBT sur Orianem strasse…Bien amicalement, bise de l'ile de la Réunion.

Frank's Pension Flophouse Deluxe is great! He is a warm and wonderful host who offered some suggestions for me to see while in the city. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless, roomy, and comfortable. The location is perfect too - just a few steps from the underground. If I find myself back in Berlin, I will definitely stay here again!

Frank is a darling man. Everybody loves him as he is so generous and sweet. The Pension Berlin was wonderful: kitsch, arty and very Berlin. I stayed in the Deluxe room, which was a double (queen?) and was comfortable and safe. Watched two films in the basement kino, which was delightful. Coffee machine, snacks, clean room and bathroom, it was all just fine.

Superwitzige kleine Pension in tollem Kiez. Das Fassbinder-Zimmer hat uns bei der großen Hitze nachts die perfekt Abkühlung geboten. Die Anbindung an die öffentlichen ist Perfekt; direkt um die Ecke ist auch ein Fahrradverleih. Gleich nebenan gibt's es einen kleinen Burgerladen, bei dem sich das anstehen lohnt. Frank ist supernetter Typ!

Wir sind drei Tagen im "Pension Berlin" gewesen; es war für uns das Erste Mal das wir mit Airbnb zu tun hätten. Aber es hat uns positiv überrascht, wir konnen das jeder empfehlen! Frank hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen, nichts war ihm zu viel. Es ist angenehm, in dieser Gegend mit viele Kneipe und Laden zu bleiben und das Stadtzentrum ist sehr einfach mit der U-ZBahn zu erreichen.

We couldn't recommend Frank's Flophouse Deluxe more! The pension is comfortable and clean, boasts a quirky decor, and is in a great location - just minutes away from the U-bahn and with plenty of cafés and restaurants within walking distance. Frank was a very welcoming and friendly host and the area of Kreuzberg was one of our favourites - this really felt like a home away from home! We would definitely stay here again.

Also diese Unterkunft ist echt abgefahren - man wandelt quasi durch ein einzigartiges Kunstwerk, und das ganze mitten im Kreuzberger Kiez, mit der U-Bahn Schönleinstr. gleich um die Ecke, aber auch zahlreichen Kneipen und dem wunderschönen Planufer/Urbanufer in fußläufiger Entfernung. Der gezeigte Barraum ist ein Gemeinschaftsraum ebenso wie das Bad/Dusche, die privaten Zimmer sind kleiner als viele Zimmer zu diesem Preis. WLAN funktioniert gut, und Frank ist ein wirklich entspannter und supernetter Gastgeber! Allerdings sollte man das Außergewöhnlich-Freakige auch zu schätzen wissen.
