The Space

1 bedroom casita completely renovated as "green" as possible in the village of Corrales, midway between Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

The casita includes Direct TV, Select Comfort bed, off street parking and a pellet stove. The shower is to "die for". Close to the Bosque and Rio Grande, biking and riding trails. Swimming pool and tennis courts across the street, with Sunday growers Market.

Corrales is a village in Sandoval County with a population of 8329, nestled between Albuquerque and Rio Rancho by the Rio Grande, but seems worlds away from its surrounding cities. Very close to Balloon Fiesta and great views of the balloons. Albuquerque has great skiing, biking and hiking, fabulous museums and art galleries. A no miss is the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway which slowly climbs the 10,378 foot peak of the mountain that form Albuquerque's eastern border.

Corrales is also close to Santa Fe and the Indian Market and the famous Santa Fe flea market and opera. Santa Fe also has a wonderful folk art museum, Georgia O'Keefe museum and many art galleries and great shopping..

Interaction with Guests

There is usually someone on the property at all times and we are available to help out and get you what you need.

Getting Around

We are close to shopping and restaurants and malls.

Other Things to Note

We have horses and a mini donkey on the property. The donkey is known to bray in the morning. She brings great joy to all that stay here.

House Rules

We expect our guests to pay attention to using the utilities. Turn off the out door lights during the day. Use the pellet stove in the winter as it is a wonderful source of heat and will heat the entire casita. We supply the pellets.
Please leave the casita in the condition it is found.
