Our second floor apartment is located in West Cape May, this private studio is less than a mile to the lovely beaches of Cape May and the center of town. This quiet space is bright, crisp and recently renovated.

Bring a bike, or even walk to the best restaurants, shopping, and entertainment Cape May has to offer.

Additionally, you can visit many Wineries, golf courses as well as a fine Distillery, not to mention world class birding at Cape May Point.

The space
This is a walk up studio apartment in West Cape May. The private entrance is located in the back of the building offering privacy and the use of the backyard during the summer months. If tomatoes are ripe, feel free to pick one or two. A gas grill is available for outdoor cooking as well as outdoor showering. The studio space is decorated in a shore theme with beadboard surrounding the walls. This space is clean and cozy, and yes, air conditioned.

Where you’ll be

West Cape May, New Jersey, United States

The neighborhood is quiet with a local pharmacy .4 miles away. There is a wonderful market located across the street from the pharmacy with "the best coffee" and homemade goods. That is a little hub of nice commerce. Half a mile to the south you will find more eateries. Sunset Blvd. will take you to Cape May Point with lots of historic sites to see - the lighthouse, gunnery, birding and sunsets that will keep you in awe with a lovely flag ceremony. When you go east from our address you head into historic Cape May. There you will find the Cape May beaches which you will need to purchase a beach tag (at the entrance to the beach). There are many tours available by foot or trolley. Shopping is available at the open air Washington Street Mall. Dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner can be had at your choice of many fine dining establishments too many to list here but available at "The Cottage".

I am a knitter, milliner, weaver. My family has been part of Cape May since 1950. My husband and I have 3 daughters who attended elementary school here on the island, and then high school in Wildwood, each graduating different universities. They are integral parts of my life. I have a grandson, Cash who helps with our Airbnb studio, he's 5 yrs. old. Cash also helps in our garden, the garden of which our guests will be able to pick tomatoes or blueberries if they are ripe and ready when they are visiting. Biking around Cape May is something to behold. I recommend it to all who visit. Our family have been bikers since my great aunt had the vision to get on a bus from Germantown, PA and come down to Cape May and buy a house here. Thank you, Kakki! There are so many places to visit from Cape May Point to Poverty Beach and even the Coast Guard Base.
