  • Very nice, tastefully decorated flat! Perfectly located close to the Ku'Damm. We arrived in the evening and the handover of the key went smoothly. The flat was clean and everything was ready.

  • This was a fabulous apartment less than a block from the U3 subway. The front door opens into a foyer. To the left is the great room that takes up about half of the overall space, with a square dining table big enough to squeeze in 5-6 people in a pinch (the apartment has a total of 6 chairs suitable for dining, including the 2 on the balcony. Immediately in front of you is the door to the bedroom, which has a very comfortable bed for 2 and decent dresser and closet space. To the right is the door to the bathroom (very clean with shower stall) and the entrance to the kitchen. The kitchen has 4 electric burners, oven with Celsius temperature settings, dishwasher and microwave that work fine, and a clothes washer that works well but can be a tiny bit temperamental with its settings (the user guide for it is in the apartment, but only in German). The apartment includes an excellent, large clothes-drying rack.
The kitchen was reasonably well-equipped when we arrived; we bought a couple more cheap knives and some decent 3-euro wine glasses to supplement, and left them in the apartment. Also in the kitchen is a dining-like table that is best used as supplemental counter space. There is a small fridge that works very well, but no freezer.
Location is excellent--half a block from the U3, with short rides to Wittenbergplatz for KaDeWe. You're also 3-4 blocks from the U7, U9, and U1. The Wednesday and Saturday Karl-August-Platz market (short ride on the U7) is the best market for food shopping in that area; Kaiser's at U3 Wittenbergplatz works for supermarket staples, and Woolworth at U1 Kurfurstenstrasse works for any cheap last-minute home needs.
Check-in was a breeze. We communicated by SMS with Michael's friend Daniel who arrived at the appointed time and let us in. Michael himself came by a few days later and was very pleasant. The apartment's door is self-locking, so an early-morning check-out is no problem at all.
Overall, a fantastic experience. I would rent this apartment and/or others from Michael again.

  • The apartment is located in an old building with a very nice architecture and it's closed to the public transportation. Lots of restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets can be reached by walking.
The apartment is well equipped and one can find all the necessary staff needed. The furnish is a little bit old, but you can consider that this gives the charm to the apartment.

  • It was great staying at Michael's apartment even though he's not able to welcome us on our arrival but his representative, Daniel was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. I would really recommend anyone who's planning to visit Berlin to stay here. It's very close to underground and the famous shopping area Ku'damm. The apartment was clean and tidy with a lovely balcony. Will surely come again for my next visit.

  • Michael's appartment was very lovely!
It is quite big with lots of natural light and lovely high ceilings!
The place was very clean and Michael was very friendly and very responsive! The location iis another reason for staying here. Lots of great restaurants around and only a short walk to the kudamm city! I definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again when I visit Berlin!
