What Makes Our Place Unique, Is The Energy In The Apartment And We Want People Staying With Us To Have Fun And Feel Comfortable.
I am always open for negotiating a price also! Something that works for everyone.
And Lastly, We Have A Very Cute Cat
The guests will have access to EVERYTHING in the apartment. I want my guests to feel completely at home. I want my guests to feel like they can come and go as they please, feel free to access anything in the apartment at any time. As long as everyone is respectful to each other in the apartment.
Interaction with Guests
I interact with the guests however much he/she/they want to interact. If my guests want to be alone and not interact much, I will completely respect that. And if they want to interact a great deal, then I am up for that too. I have brought many of my guests to dinner with my friends and given them the New York experience. Again, my interaction with my guests is up to my guests!
The two best things about my neighborhood is the view (easily the second best view of New York City - that I have seen). And the closeness to every other place in New York. JFK is 45 minutes away, Manhattan is a 5 minute subway ride, Union Square is 20 minutes away, Brooklyn is one stop away. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful.
Long Island City (L.I.C.) is the westernmost residential and commercial neighborhood of the New York City borough of Queens. L.I.C. is noted for its waterfront parks, and its thriving arts community. L.I.C. has among the highest concentration of art galleries, art institutions, and studio space of any neighborhood in New York City.
There are many restaurants (Mexian, Tai, Chinese, Cuban).
There is a large grocery store.
And two 24-hour delis.
The 7 Train is a 3-5 minute walk from the apartment. Manhattan (Grand Central) is the very next stop. The G Train is a 5 minute walk to the apartment and is the train to Brooklyn.
I have yet to be in a neighborhood (outside of Manhattan) that is better in regards to public transit. All airports are easy to get to and my guests have NO trouble getting around.
I just ask that my guests respect everyone else in the apartment by not making too much noise during late hours (1am - 7am), to be clean and clean up after themselves and to just have fun.
It was big pleasure for me to stay at John's room. The room is very clean and the bed was such a comfortable. Apartment located in very good area just few blocks from the subway and one stop from Manhattan. Roommates also beautiful guys very open and helpful.
John is very very good host, he always helped me with great advices where to go and what to see, he was very kind and I felt that we are good friends with him. Had big experience with Airbnb, but can easily say that stay with John was the BEST!
I highly recommend to stay with John at his wonderful apartment!
Cheriyan was the most welcoming host. I arrived over Thanksgiving weekend, so he wasn't present initially, but he texted a couple times just to make sure everything was going well in NY. I even left an item after, and he's been very accommodating in getting it back to me.
The room is very comfortable - I slept like a baby! I'd highly recommend this room/ apartment.
