Saranac on the Nile is a peaceful oasis on the Nile River, 22 miles from Jinja. The secluded, 8-acre property has a main house, two self-catering cottages, luxury safari tent, swimming pool with large outdoor kitchen/ lounge/dining area, and epic river views - perfect for group get-aways or team retreats. We have water access onto a calm stretch of the river for kayaking, fishing, and swimming.

The space
Saranac is the perfect venue for groups, combining 4 private living spaces with a beautiful and spacious gathering area by the pool (with full kitchen). Enjoy big group meals and team meetings at the poolside, or escape to your beautiful cottage for some quiet relaxation. Our property is great for families, offering a nice baby pool, and even a lovely team member who can help with child care if needed.

The wild, tree-filled property is home to over a hundred bird specials, monkeys, monitor lizards, and guinea fowl; there are tons of beautiful spots to escape to if you want to relax and take in the views. If you are drawn to the water, take out a kayak for a paddle on the river, fish from the dock, or enjoy a sundowner on our small motor boat (boat driver provided).

Saranac comfortably sleeps up to 13 (in 4 different accommodations), and even more if you want us to put up additional tents.
* Main House - master bedroom with queen and 2 bunk beds (best for families with kids), 1.5 bathrooms, large outdoor covered living/dining area, and gas fireplace
* Birders Cottage - with queen bed (in living room), second bedroom with double bed, bathroom, outdoor shower, and large covered porch
* River Cottage - en suite studio with queen bed and a single pull-out bed; closest proximity to the river
* Large safari tent - queen bed and day bed; no bathroom (uses shared bathroom by the pool)
* Camping - We can provide a durable canvas tent and comfortable bedding for any additional guests - $30/person/night

Saranac is self-catering, but our team can provide a delicious breakfast spread (at a small additional cost) as well as cooking support if needed. We provide charcoal for the BBQ and wood for the bonfire under the stars. If you are looking for full-board, we can connect you with a fantastic chef who can plan the menu, shop, and cook delicious food for you during your stay.

On Airbnb you can only book exclusive access to the entire property. If you would like to enquire about renting only one or two cottages, please find us on our website.
