Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We stayed 4 nights with Rumiko and Chikashi and had a wonderful experience. As a tourist on Kyushu for only a few days this was a great way to get insight into Japanese culture. We stayed in the tatami room and slept well on the futons. As others have noted, the food was better than most restaurants and it was traditional Japanese. Rumiko and Chikashi make you feel like part of the family and they set a festive tone at the dinner table. Transportation to everywhere was easy with our rail pass and we managed to see Fukuoka, Kumamoto and Kagoshima. We HIGHLY recommend this guest house.

  • I loved my stay. The hosts went out there way to pick me up from train station at 10pm and even dropped me off the next morning at 6am. Just wonderful caring people.

If you looking for inexpensive stay, to meet locals and have a comfortable bed - this is good option.
