This place is located in the eastern part of Fukuoka City.Guest house is a sense of a Home stay.
5 minute walk from the Kyushyukoukou-guchi of JR Kashii station.Bus stop of high-speed bus to go to Tenjin area is a 1 minute walk away.
About 10 minutes by local train to go to JR Hakata Station.
30 minutes by high-speed bus to go to Tenjin.
The house is not far away from the train station, less than 10 mins walk. They actually so nice to pick me up at the station on the first day I arrived! Chikashi couple are really nice, and the meals Chikashi made as well. Highly recommended!
Best stay experience during my half month japan trip. A very short stayed but I already feel it. Everything is nice, from our Owner, to their home and the food done specially from our owner !! I was lucky to stay in their traditional tatami room, best experience!. Will visit you all again :-).
I had a wonderful stay at chikashis' house. Both rumiko and chikashi are really nice people :-) . their house is in a perfekt walking distance to JR kashii station. Thank you very much. Best regards and liebe Grüsse!
It was very nice to stay 2 nights with Chikashi-san and Rumiko-san. They welcomed me with a kind cup of tea and sweets :) The japanese style room was lovely and comfortable, and Chikashi-san was a great cook so I advise you to have dinner and breakfast at home! They are both very nice, speak a little English and you can have nice laid back conversations without problem :)
The house is just a few JR train stops away from Hakata station, it's easy to find and it takes less than 30 minutes to be from the house to the city center of Fukuoka.
I would for sure advise you to stay at their house during your stay in Fukuoka!
One of the best places I've stayed during my 6 weeks in japan. From the second you walk in, you feel like a member of the family. Chikashi makes the most amazing homemade meals I have ever seen. You won't regret staying here
I travelled Kyushu in late March and stayed at Chikashi's house for 2 nights. Just like others comments, Chikashi san and Rumiko san treated me so well. Rumiko san picked me up and sent me to the Kashi station by car.
I also had breakfast and dinner at the house and foods were delicious. Besides, I dined with various guests from other countries one night and had a lot of Sake in free. We chatted, drank and had a lot of fun there. I recommend you to experience there.

I was traveling around the world from a teenager. I was a hippie. I have taken care to many people at that time. And, family ties was born. I am connected with them even now. My motto is, that to cherish the encounter with people.
And that is to value the ties. Based on this philosophy, I have run a guest house to support the stay of foreigners.
